When you come for a kinesiology session, you enter a space that is just for you.
The space is held.
There’s no judgement.
There’s no trying to fix you.
There’s simply an opportunity to be with what is.
And in that space, something begins to shift.
Your body no longer has to work so hard to hold everything together.
It can begin to let go of the things that have been in the way for months, years and often decades.
It’s a beautiful thing to witness.
Over the years, it’s taught me something about what it means to be a kinesiologist.
✨ As a kinesiologist, your role is to hold that space for another person.
The non-judgement.
The care.
The attention.
The validation.
The willingness to sit alongside someone exactly where they are.
All of it matters.
The techniques and tools we use are an integral part of the session, of course.
They’re needed because they help the body to release stress, rebalance and realign.
Yet what I’ve come to appreciate the most is that very often the real medicine is the practitioner themselves.
Their presence.
Their ability to listen.
Their ability to hold space without needing to fix, rescue or judge.
💻 If you’ve ever been curious about kinesiology, or you’ve wondered whether training to become a practitioner might be right for you, I’d love to invite you to my free Introduction to Kinesiology webinar on 23rd June. It’s online and starts at 7pm - see the link in comments / bio to register.
🎓 And if you’re feeling called to go deeper and learn Kinesiology for yourself, my next Foundation Course begins in August (I will discuss this at the end of the webinar on Tuesday, so please bring your questions along, or DM me 🙂).
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can offer another human being is a space where they can finally hear themselves.
💫 The medicine is you.
