We know this is part of a training programme that is often overlooked! However it is so important to incorporate just a few minutes before and after every session to :
a) ensure you are warmed up to perform the exercises to the best of your ability and maximise your session
b) cool down after the workout to help with recovery and overall flexibility
c)help prevent injuries

Although the guide makes use of dumbbells, these can be replaced with water bottles, boxes of milk, cans… get creative :)

We know not everyone has an access to a gym onboard so we designed the programme with this in mind.

All you need is a towel/mat and the floor space of your cabin!

We know that working and living onboard a yacht can be stressful at the best of times, add in lack of sleep, long hours and close living quarters and one’s mental health can really take a knock.

The Crew Fit Guide (and exercise in general) is shown to help improve mental well-being through reducing stress, anxiety and depression.

We realise that after a long day/night shift , exercise may be the last thing on your mind but by dedicating just 10 minutes to movement a day , it can really make a big difference to one’s mental health.

The Crew Fit guide allows you to pick the length you want to workout for , therefore if all you can give mentally is 10 minutes then we have got you covered.

You can can chose how long you want to workout for, be it 10 minutes or 40 minutes , the workouts are adjustable to fit the time you have available.
