Context matters, and so does sharing information in its entirety!
We've recently seen a small clip from our Voynich Manuscript session being shared, but unfortunately, some very important context has been left out.
During that session, the information we received was very clear. We were told it was a hard NO to mixing menstrual blood with moon water, or any water for that matter. However, the information didn't stop there. We were also told that menstrual blood should be returned directly to the Earth.
That second part is incredibly important because it provides the FULL context of what was communicated.
Now, we're absolutely fine with people questioning the information we receive, having different interpretations or even disagreeing with it. That's what open discussion is all about!
But what we don't agree with is taking snippets of someone else's work and presenting them without the context that gives the message its meaning.
This isn't about calling anyone out or creating drama. It's about something much bigger.
If we're genuinely interested in exploring information, asking questions and seeking understanding, then surely we have a responsibility to represent that information accurately?
You don't have to agree with the message, but at least allow people to hear the whole thing and make up their own minds.
Because sometimes, what gets left out is just as important as what's being shared. 💜
