This is fantastic 🙌

We are delighted to be working with Vamos Theatre to provide two incredible free sessions for carers of those with dementia., made possible by funding from Healthy Worcestershire.

If you’re a carer looking for fresh ideas, practical support and a genuinely uplifting experience, this event,
over two sessions offers insight, encouragement and the chance to connect with other carers in a way that feels positive, memorable and full of heart.

Listening With Your eyes – this workshop is for carers only
(30th June 2026)

Mischief – a beautiful participatory performance for you and your loved one with dementia. You are welcome to stay afterwards and have a chat with Carers & Communities and Vamos Theatre. (13th July 2026)

If you are looking for a warm, uplifting event that helps you feel more confident in your caring role while enjoying meaningful time with your loved one, this is a wonderful opportunity to explore new ways of connecting, communicating and creating calm through
a gentle, engaging session designed with carers in mind.

It’s not just about learning — it’s about finding simple, caring ways to make everyday interactions feel more connected and positive.

There’s also a real sense of fun in the experience.

Mischief is an interactive performance, so if you would like to, we welcome you both to get dressed up for the occasion! Get your glad rags on and join us for a truly immersive experience.

We are really excited about this as it is the first time these sessions are being opened up to carers and their loved ones with dementia.

Places are limited so we encourage you to book as soon as you can. For more information about the sessions and to book - you can do so here : https://www.carersandcommunities.org.uk/post/vamos-theatre-listening-with-your-eyes-and-mischief-performances-coming-to-worcestershire-for-unp
