🎂 Happy 4️⃣th Birthday to our wonderful Maggie! You’re the most gentle fluff-ball and a mega hit with our young adults! 🩶

As well as being a hit with humans, the pack from Fit Paws - Dog Running and Walking Service love your bones too! For a little one, she can cover some miles - fit as chips! 🍟

🌟 Exciting News from Thrive Hub Bromsgrove! 🌟

From September 2026, we’ll be expanding to offer weekly Wednesday daytime placements from 10:00–15:00 for SEND young adults. 💙

Alongside our much loved Saturday Socials and adhoc days, Wednesdays will focus on building confidence, independence, promoting enterprise and real world skills in a supportive environment.

Activities include:
🐶 Working with a professional grooming business The Grooming Shack & dog walking Fit Paws - Dog Running and Walking Service
🥕 Allotment harvesting
🧁 Cooking & baking
📦 Packaging dog treats
💛 Supporting pet therapy visits
🤝 Building friendships and developing life skills

We can’t wait to grow the Thrive Hub community even further! 🌱

🐶 ☀️ Thrive Hub Bromsgrove were out in force at the Alvechurch Parish Picnic in the Park and Dog Show 🐾

🥵 Although we made the difficult decision to leave our 6 Fit Paws - Dog Running and Walking Service dogs at home due to the heat, their safety will always come first ❤️

👍🏻 Our young adults still played a big part in the day, setting up gazebos, helping with judge support and even managing the dog exits! We loved seeing all the dogs, relaxing in the shade at our gazebo and finishing the morning with a mooch around the stalls and an ice cream 🍦

Fingers crossed for cooler weather next year so our dogs can join in and snap up some rosettes 🏆
