I have started this group with a view to reaching all Warfarin users in the UK.
Anyone on Warfarin in the UK due to replacement heart valves ( unless on benefits) have to pay for their prescriptions. At £9 per item this is a high cost to pay.
These patients through no fault of their own, are now on Warfarin for life and it’s not acceptable, considering this is keeping them alive, without added blood complications.
