What are those white patches after Chemical Peels?

Those white patches are completely normal and are known as frosting.

This happens when the peel is actively working on areas of the skin with

✨dead skin build-up
✨congestion
✨uneven texture
✨pigmentation

It’s caused by a controlled reaction in the top layers of the skin and is actually a sign that the treatment is doing its job.

It does NOT mean the skin is burnt ❌ and it is part of the exfoliation and renewal process that reveals brighter, smoother skin underneath.

A quick note — this is different from blanching, which can sometimes be seen with deeper medical-grade peels and is a deeper skin response. Frosting, however, is expected and normal with treatments like BioRePeel.
