No goddess vibes today 🌸

Today I missed my Somatic Drop-In session… and instead of floating around like a grounded, radiant goddess, I felt very, very human.

No deep exhale. No spacious nervous system. No poetic insights. Just real life and imperfect rhythms.

And honestly? That’s the practice too.

If you’ve ever felt like you “should” be more regulated, more healed, more together… this is your reminder: there is nothing wrong with you. There is only a nervous system doing its best.

My Somatic Drop-In sessions will be back soon — and I’d love to have you there, exactly as you are.

✨ Want to be the first to know when they’re back? Drop a “READY” below or DM me and I’ll keep you in the loop.

There’s something really special about being gently guided back to yourself 💛

Holding space, listening deeply, and helping you tune into what your body already knows… it’s an honour every single time.

If you’ve been feeling the nudge to slow down and reconnect, I’m here when you’re ready ✨

Nothing could have prepared me for this…
and also, somehow, everything did 😅

The unpredictability.
The emotional intensity.
The sudden escalations followed by complete calm like nothing happened.

What I’ve noticed is—
so much of parenting is staying regulated in moments that really test you.

And some days that looks like deep breaths and grounded responses…
and other days it looks like stepping over toys for the 4700,00th time wondering how it got this chaotic.

For me, it’s felt more like parenting isn’t about getting it “right”…
it’s about staying as present as you can in the middle of the mess (sometimes literally).

If you know, you know 😂

Tell me—what’s the most humbling part of parenting for you?

You might not have chosen these patterns...
but you may be carrying them.

What I have noticed is that a lot of what we struggle with doesn't start with us.
It's learned, adapted, and often held in the body long before we're aware of it.

Sometimes it looks like over-responsibilty...
sometimes it's finding it hard to rest...
or feeling like you always have to hold everything together.

If you feel uncomfortable, I'd be really interested to know~ which has stood out the most?

Or was there one I didn't include that you recognise in yourself?

Feel free to share in the comments or save this post to come back to. 💫

There’s a reason your body softens when you hear birds chirping.

Before language, before schedules, before the constant hum of modern life—your nervous system was shaped in relationship with the natural world.

The gentle, rhythmic sound of birdsong is not just “pleasant background noise.”

It’s information.

It tells your body: you are safe enough to soften.

In the wild, birds go quiet when there is danger.

Their songs return when the environment is settled.

Your nervous system still understands this ancient cue.

So when you hear birds chirping, especially in a steady, patterned way, your body begins to downshift—out of hypervigilance, out of urgency, and into a more regulated, parasympathetic state.

Your breath deepens.

Your muscles release.

Your mind becomes less crowded.

This isn’t something you have to “try” to do.

It’s something your body already knows how to receive.

Nature doesn’t rush you into calm—it invites you into it.

And in a world where we’re constantly stimulated, notified, and pulled in every direction, returning to something as simple as birdsong can be profoundly regulating.

It brings you back into rhythm.

Back into presence.

Back into yourself.

So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsettled, or disconnected, you don’t always need a complex solution.

Sometimes, the medicine is outside your door.

Step outside.

Pause.

Listen.

Let the birds remind your body what peace feels like.
