Our residents were over the moon with the beautiful flowers from Sainsbury’s!
Thank you so much,
we nearly ran out of vases and the residents said we had flowers everywhere….
even coming out of their ears!
At one point June was nearly hidden amongst them!

We would like to invite family, friends and the local community to our Open Day on Saturday 13th June
2-5pm
We will be having singer Tom Wenlock, 60’s music plus a few football themed songs ready for the World Cup!
Joe’s ices will be there, hopefully weather will be fantastic for an ice-cream followed by our penalty shoot out competition.
We will have stalls plus bouncy castle.
Donations would be greatly appreciated for our raffle and Tombola,
(please see Julie or Chantelle) or pop into reception.
If anyone would like to donate their time for helping on the Tombola stall or selling raffle tickets it would be a huge help.
We look forward to seeing you!

We had more lovely flowers from Sainsbury’s in Cannock, a huge thank you!
It means so much to our residents as they love flower arranging, smelling the flowers and seeing them around the home.
A request please….
If anyone has any plastic vases they could donate we
would be extremely
grateful, so we can put more flowers safely around the home.

Dementia Action Week.

For Dementia action week the residents helped to make our display, colouring in forget me nots and assembling them.
We talked about the forget me not being the symbol for raising awareness of Dementia, how pretty the flower is, and what it means to them.

Lovely to see some sunshine and get some fresh air!
We started off filling up the bird seed and fat balls,
which then turned into gardening, and we finished off with refreshments and well deserved cake at our residents meeting.

Fun, laughter and a spin to win board for our football training this week!
Maggie gave Chris a cheeky kiss on the cheek, Mickey wouldn’t throw the bean bag until they’d chatted, Doreen was enjoying it so much she was putting herself in the hoop with the beanbag,
Tony needed the hoops moving back due to his long throws, Val didn’t stop smiling, (she was chatting to our new activities
co ordinator Chantelle),
we would like to welcome you to Chaseview!
There was so much interaction and improvement with throwing skills, well done team Chaseview!
Not sure about the new hats, but they’re catching on!
