At Imbolc, we stand at the quiet turning—
where winter still whispers,
but the earth has begun to breathe again.

May you feel comfort in the small signs:
the soft push of green beneath the frost,
the lengthening of light,
the promise that rest was not an ending, only a pause.

There’s something deeply comforting about a warm cup of Moon Milk before bed 🌕
It’s more than a drink — it’s a ritual that tells your body it’s safe to slow down.

Moon milk has been used for centuries as a gentle way to calm the nervous system and prepare for rest.

Why moon milk is especially beneficial before bedtime:
✨ Helps quiet a racing mind
✨ Encourages deeper, more restful sleep
✨ Supports relaxation and stress reduction
✨ Creates a calming nightly routine
✨ Nourishes the body while you unwind

Whether you drink it under the moonlight or curled up in bed, moon milk is a beautiful reminder to pause, breathe, and care for yourself. Sometimes the smallest rituals make the biggest difference 🌙💫

Night 7 of Yule

Seven nights into Yule, the light is no longer just a promise — it is becoming a presence. Winter still holds us, but the wheel has turned, and trust grows with the returning sun.

This is a night for steady joy, lingering laughter, and homes warmed not only by fire, but by intention. As the light strengthens, so does our care for the people and spaces we cherish.

To honor Night 7, you might light an extra candle and notice how much brighter the room feels, or invite warmth and abundance by gently blowing cinnamon across your doorway and into your home.

Share a meal or a sweet treat. Tell a familiar story. Play music that feels like comfort. Speak gratitude for something that has carried you through the dark.

Yule unfolds slowly, night by night, layering light upon light.

The light is growing — enough.

May Night 7 of Yule bring warmth, protection, and the quiet reassurance that brighter days are already returning. ✨

Tomorrow brings the Winter Solstice. From this turning point, the light slowly begins its return. When you feel wrapped in deep darkness, remember this: the light is always making its way back to you. Always — no matter how distant it may seem.

Here are some simple ideas to celebrate the traditions of Yule

🌑 Day 1 – Alban Arthan (Solstice Night)
Theme: Rebirth of the Sun
Keep vigil through the longest night. Light a single candle or fire to honour the Sun’s return. In Welsh tradition, this is a night of prophecy and deep listening.

🔥 Day 2 – Fire & Protection
Theme: Sacred Flame
Bless the hearth. Fires were believed to protect the home and call in warmth, luck, and prosperity for the coming year.

🌲 Day 3 – Evergreens & the Land
Theme: Life Endures
Gather ivy, holly, or pine. In Wales, evergreens were seen as guardians of the spirit during winter’s grip.

🏡 Day 4 – Hearth & Home Blessing
Theme: Shelter
Clean, sweep, and spiritually bless the home. The hearth was sacred—home was a living being to be honoured.

🕯 Day 5 – Ancestral Night
Theme: Honouring the Dead
Light candles for ancestors. In Welsh belief, the veil is thin, and the dead walk close during this season.

🎁 Day 6 – Gift of the Hand
Theme: Giving Without Expectation
Offer handmade gifts, food, or service. Pagan generosity was about balance, not excess.

🌒 Day 7 – Shadow & Silence
Theme: Inner Darkness
Sit with the quiet. Reflect on lessons of the year. Darkness is not feared—it is womb-like and wise.

🌟 Day 8 – Awen & Inspiration
Theme: Sacred Breath
Call in Awen, the divine inspiration of Welsh tradition. Write, sing, craft, or speak poetry.

🍎 Day 9 – Gratitude to the Earth
Theme: Thankfulness
Offer thanks to the land, animals, and spirits who sustained you through the year.

🎶 Day 10 – Joy, Song & Community
Theme: Celebration
Sing, feast, and share stories. In Wales, winter was a time of music, storytelling, and bardic tradition.

🧹 Day 11 – Cleansing & Renewal
Theme: Clearing the Old
Physically and spiritually cleanse. Release what no longer serves as the year turns.

🌅 Day 12 – Blessing the New Sun
Theme: New Beginnings
Welcome the strengthening Sun. Speak blessings over the year ahead and walk forward renewed.

Yule teaches us that darkness is sacred, rest is necessary, and rebirth begins in stillness. In honouring Alban Arthan, we walk in rhythm with our ancestors, the land, and the eternal turning of the wheel.

🌲 May your hearth be warm, your ancestors near, and the light return gently. 🌲

🌲 Anwylwch y tir. Anrhydeddwch yr hyn a fu. Croesewch yr hyn sy’n dod.
Love the land. Honour what has been. Welcome what is to come.

It’s never too early to start prepping fire cider .
It Contains natural ingredients to help your immune system
Preventative measures are better than cure!!

Ingredients and how to below

🌿 Boost Your Immune System with Fire Cider! 🌡️✨
I know it’s hard to visualise winter as we are having such beautiful weather, I like to prepare and wanted to share with you my secret weapon against those pesky bugs and viruses that tend to make their rounds.
My homemade Fire Cider - a natural tonic packed full of goodness to support your body's defenses!
Fire Cider is a powerful concoction that helps build your immune system and keeps those nasty bugs at bay. 🛡️💪
It's incredibly easy to make .
Here's what I've added this year: onions, garlic, lemon, orange, oregano, turmeric, sage, chillies , cayenne pepper, and ginger. 🧅🍋🌶️
To make your own Fire Cider, simply add these immune-boosting ingredients to a sealed jar and store it in a dark place for a couple of months. This allows the flavors and beneficial properties to infuse. After the waiting period, strain the liquid from the solids and decanter it into a bottle. Voila! Your very own Fire Cider is ready to go. 🌟
During the winter months, keep your bottle of Fire Cider refrigerated and take a shot of it daily. I like to mix mine with hot water and honey for an extra comforting experience. The warmth and natural sweetness make it a delightful ritual to look forward to each day. ☕🍯
Not only does Fire Cider help fortify your immune system, but it also provides a host of other health benefits. The combination of these natural ingredients offers anti-inflammatory properties, aids digestion, and can even provide a little energy boost when needed. It's truly a tonic for both body and soul! 💚✨
So, let's prepare ourselves for a healthier winter together! Embrace the power of Fire Cider and give your immune system the support it deserves. 🌬️🔥 If you have any other ingredients you love to add, feel free to share your own personal twists in the comments below🔥

🌞 Summer Solstice Blessings 🌿
Today is the longest day of the year — a time to honor the sun, the earth, and the fullness of life.

Looking for simple, soulful ways to celebrate? Here are a few ideas to help you connect with the season:

🍓 Rise with the sun – Greet the morning light in stillness or with movement. A walk, a stretch, or simply sitting with the sun on your face.
🔥 Light a fire or candle – Symbolize the sun’s power with firelight. Gather with others or enjoy a quiet moment of reflection.
🌸 Create a nature altar – Gather flowers, herbs, stones, or summer fruits as a small offering to the season.
🥖 Feast on seasonal foods – Enjoy fresh, local summer bounty. Think berries, greens, honey, and anything sun-ripened.
🧘‍♀️ Reflect + set intentions – The solstice is a powerful time to pause and check in with your path. What are you growing toward?
🌻 Spend time outdoors – Even a few barefoot minutes in the grass can be grounding. Let the earth speak.

Let this day remind you of your place in the great turning of the seasons.
Stay wild, stay rooted. 🌾

Feeling the whispers of nature's pharmacy?

✨ Essential oils are potent gifts, each carrying unique properties to uplift, soothe, and support our well-being. But where's the magic spot to unlock their power? Let's explore a few key application points:

🌿 Temples- a dab here can help ease head tension .

🌬️ Wrists: Your pulse points are like little energy hubs! Applying oils here allows for easy inhalation throughout the day.

❤️ Chest & Back of Neck: These areas are close to your respiratory system and can be great for oils that support clear breathing.

👣 Bottoms of Feet: Believe it or not, the soles of your feet have large pores and reflexology points connected to the entire body. This is a fantastic place to apply oils for systemic support and absorption.

✋ Palms: A quick and easy way to experience an oil's benefits is by placing a drop or two in your palms, rubbing them together, and inhaling deeply. This is great for immediate mood boosts or calming anxieties.
