An Introduction to Ni from Witch Crafts
Hi, I’m Ni, the creator behind Witch Crafts - handmade magical creations. Originally from Portland in Dorset (yes that weird little island off Weymouth) I came to Hampshire to study photography.
I was raised within the spiritual community and what grandad called the old ways. Growing up being aware of spirit was simply part of everyday life, it wasn’t unusual or something to be questioned - although I had many questions. Conversations about guides, signs, the spiritual world, lay line hunting and foraging were woven into the fabric of everyday life. My Great-great Grandmother was a midwife, wise woman and healer who healed the sick, made herbal remedies and read tea leaves. She is one of my spirit guides and biggest inspiration.
Like many mums life became busy raising my 2 sons who are now 14 and 26. As they’ve grown and needed me less I’ve found myself rediscovering some of my passions. Today alongside developing my mediumship I am also experimenting with different painting styles (including spirit art) and creative projects. My current work is inspired by classic literature such as Shakespeare and folklore. Creating miniatures and magical curiosities that bring stories to life. The Fayre will be the first time showcasing any of this work, so watch this space.
I am passionate about bringing like minded people together. Although I have co-hosted a fayre at the Brickworks before I am absolutely thrilled to be co-hosting this now with Emma and Alison. Two beautiful souls with whom I am very excited to see where our new collaboration takes us. I can’t wait to see old faces and meet new people and share this wonderful day with you all.
