At Middle Management, we build regular flexibility and mobility drills into our plans. 2 minute desk based drills between meetings to release neck pain and 5-10 minutes of mobility exercises to do last thing at night to keep your body moving.

It doesn't need to take long. But it will make a world of difference.

Weekends are tough. I get it. Social events, more free time and fewer alarm clocks mean that its tempting to blow the plan completely and worry about things again come Monday morning.

All week you’re structured.
You’re training hard
You’re eating well.
And you’re on it.

Then the weekend hits

And the fck it button is pushed!
And just like that—you’re back to square one.

Let's stop that!

Here’s the truth:
You don’t need to be perfect on weekends

But you do need a plan.
Here’s how we handle it in Middle Management:
1. Set your non-negotiables
You don’t need a full routine—just anchors.
Get your steps in
Hit your protein
Stay hydrated
That alone keeps you 80% on track.

2. Train early on.
One session on the Saturday morning before the weekend properly kicks in changes everything and keeps the momentum going.

3. Plan your treats.
You can have the meal out.
You can have a drink or 2.
But it’s planned, its controlled —not chaotic.

4. Don’t write the whole weekend off
One bad meal or a few pints will not destroy a week of progress. Get back to being good as soon as possible and the extra calories are absorbed into the rest of the week.

5. Remember who you are now!!
You’re not in the old mindset of boom or bust.
You’re building a lifestyle that actually lasts so a small blip here or there is built into the plan.

This is what Middle Management is about.
