We will be participating in the free rollout of the Meningitis B vaccine for 16-17 year olds, this is a one time offer from the NHS and does not include other non eligible age groups. All eligible students will be contacted via the NHS. This is a 2 dose vaccine so the summer holidays is a great time to have it done. Appointments are available to book on the NHS website online from the 13th July.

Please do not delay booking in for your covid vaccine at Thurston Pharmacy - our supply is limited and we aim to be finished by the end of May.
Walk-in covid vaccines *may* available subject to availability this Thursday and Friday for over 75's or Immunosuppressed. When this vaccine stock is gone it is gone, so please don't delay.

Undiagnosed high blood pressure is silent - and could lead to serious conditions such as stroke or a heart attack. This is why we ask our patients to have a check with us when in branch. We can refer on to your GP for action if necessary and gove lifestyle advice on lowering your BP.

You can now book your covid vaccine on the NHS app or online, or by calling 119.
Please note we will not be offering walk in appointments in the 1st week. From the 22nd April onwards we will take walk-ins on Wednesday and Saturday mornings 9.30-12.30.
Please ensure you are eligible for vaccination. You must be aged over 75 OR severely immunosuppressed in which case you will receive a letter or a text from your doctors surgery/hospital to invite you.
