Tween space is our summer offering for 8-12 year olds who find most holiday activities too busy. It is drop off session full of creative and nature based fun.

We specialise in running sessions for anxious children with a freeze/fawn profile who shutdown when overwhelmed rather than explode.

We are grateful to Activities Unlimited for supporting these much needed sessions.

💛 Wild Hearts Parent & Child Quality Time Sessions 💛

✨ Creative, nature based activities
✨ Time to slow down & connect
✨ A nurturing, nature-inspired setting

Don’t miss out on this chance to spend special one-to-one time with your SEN child and create some summer memories.
These small group sessions are part funded by Activities Unlimited.

They are suitable for anxious young people who may (or may not) be neurodivergent or have a learning disability. They provide a safe, low demand space to take part in nature based, creative and wellbeing activities.

The gentle sessions are specially designed for young people who find themselves withdrawing when overwhelmed rather than become reactive.

🌿 Summer Wild Hearts Sessions Are Back for 2026! 🌿

We're pleased to share that Limitless Futures CIC will be running Wild Hearts Sessions this summer thanks to support from Activities Unlimited.

Last year's sessions were packed with fun, creativity, connection, and outdoor adventures – and we can't wait to welcome families back for another fantastic summer! 💚

This year we're offering:

✨ Quality Time Sessions – parent and child sessions designed to enjoy meaningful time together in nature.

🌿 Tween Drop-Off Sessions – for young people aged 8–12 years, giving them the chance to build confidence, make friends, and explore the outdoors.

We also have a number of HAF-funded places available for eligible families.

📅 Booking goes live on Friday, and if last year is anything to go by, places won't be available for long!

👉 Register your interest now through the Eequ platform and you'll be notified as soon as booking opens.

Despite yesterday being one of the wettest days we have experienced at Limitless Futures, we welcomed Nick Timothy our local MP and Shadow Cabinet member to learn more about the role outdoor learning plays in supporting children and young people with SEND and those accessing EOTAS (Education other that at school).

The weather certainly didn't dampen spirits, and we were pleased to see him fully embrace the experience – including having a go at lighting a fire with a flint and steel!

The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the transformative impact that creative, outdoor, wellbeing focused learning can have for children and young people with SEND, anxiety, and those who are unable to access traditional educational settings.

One of the key messages we shared was that, for many of the children we support, creative outdoor learning is not an enrichment activity – it is the environment that makes learning possible.

Many of the children who attend Limitless Futures have found traditional educational environments difficult to access because of sensory overwhelm, anxiety and unmet needs. When barriers are removed and children feel safe, understood and regulated, they are able to engage in learning, build relationships and thrive. Through nature-based and creative learning, we see children communicate more freely, develop confidence, improve emotional regulation and reconnect with education.

We also discussed the importance of recognising Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS) and creative nature-based and wellbeing focused provision within future SEND reforms. For some children, outdoor learning is not an alternative to education – it is education. It provides the flexibility, therapeutic relationships, and practical learning experiences they need to access their right to an education.

For us outdoor learning isn't just about taking education outside. It's about removing barriers so children who cannot currently access education have a way back in.

Thank you for taking the time to visit us, listen to our experience, and learn more about the role wellbeing focused, creative outdoor learning can play in transforming lives.

Last week we held our first “Limitless Talent” show 🌟 — an idea proposed by one of our young people.

Over the course of this half term, everyone has played a part in bringing it to life. From behind-the-scenes roles and stage management, to performing, creating props, supporting friends, and being part of the audience — every contribution mattered.

The acts we saw from our young people were incredible and wonderfully diverse, including dance, stand-up comedy, gymnastics, acrobatics, puppetry, kung fu, singing, mime, and even a performance of the cup song. We also discovered some hidden talents amongst our practitioners too! 👏

We are so incredibly proud of every single young person involved. Many of the children we support experience high levels of anxiety and often find being the focus of attention really difficult, so taking part in any way was a huge achievement.

What made the show so special was that it was completely child-led, low demand, and rooted in community. Young people were able to engage in ways that felt safe and comfortable for them, building confidence, connection, and a real sense of belonging along the way.

It was a wonderful reminder that when children are given the space to lead, create, and be accepted exactly as they are, amazing things can happen 💛

A huge and long overdue thank you to National Dome Light Company - Rooflights & Skylights
for their generous support in helping us create the show-stopping roof for our strawbale roundhouse.

Our beautiful circular dome arrived back in November 2024, but was hidden beneath a giant tarp while we worked hard to keep the structure weather tight through the winter months. Building with natural materials means moving with the seasons — it was simply too cold to render over winter — so work paused until spring.

Since then, we’ve rendered the walls, and turned our focus to the roof inside & out. We have slowly worked our way across the roof with shingles and insulated and panelled the ceiling.

We spent many months dreaming about seeing the sky and since the dome has been uncovered it is a truly magical centrepiece, with glazing radiating outward like rays of sunshine☀️

Limitless Futures CIC wellbeing roundhouse has been created as a nurturing, creative and therapeutic space for the families we support and the dome transforms the entire feel of the building. It brings light, openness and has been admired by everyone who has entered it!

Watch this space as there is still more to come — eventually there will be a hand-painted mural across the ceiling.

We are so grateful to everyone who has supported this project so far, and especially to National Dome Light Company for helping bring our vision for the roof to life 💚

Plus a special mention for Tom who made the wooden collar to support the dome and Andy & Giles for installation of the dome and shingling the roof. - thank you 🙏

Today we celebrate the 100th birthday of the incredible David Attenborough 🌍

At Limitless Futures this week the children spent time creating wish/intention flags filled with promises and ideas for how we can each help care for the environment. We also made nature inspired art using treasures we found outdoors and in our recycling box.

We have chatted about the huge awareness Sir David has given us of the natural world — helping generations to see the beauty, wonder and fragility of our planet, and inspiring people to protect it for the future. His kindness, curiosity and respect for all living things are just some of the reasons he is such a hero to our practitioners. He reminds us how important it is to slow down, notice the world around us and care for it deeply. 💚

And of course, no birthday celebration would be complete without cake! 🎂

Happy 100th Birthday Sir David — thank you for inspiring so many generations and many more to come✨

It was great to open the gates and welcome children back to Limitless Futures this week for a positive start to summer term.

The arrival of roaming reporter Darren Rozier in a radio car sparked much curiosity on Monday. It was a privilege to be featured live on BBC Suffolk during the Sarah Lilley Morning Show, showing him round while chatting about the support our Alternative Provision offers.

We know the start of a new term isn’t always easy. For many young people and their families, it can bring anxiety, pressure, and uncertainty. That’s why at Limitless Futures, we do things differently.

Our focus is on reconnection and wellbeing first — building trust, creating a sense of safety, and supporting each young person to access learning in their own way.

Thank you to BBC Radio Suffolk for shining a light on how school is not always for everyone, but there are alternative options out there.
