New friend for life with this little Jack. Tillys a 10 year old miniature Jack russell and what a delight she is. She's been having some issues with her back legs and having intermittent lameness. The vets have suspected a cruciate rupture, but it's not been confirmed with any imaging. So the owner and the referring veterinarian agreed let's try some conservative therapy and see how we can help.
The way shes taken to it though, is like she's been coming to Roots to Rehab for years.
Can't wait to see your story progress Tilly.

New kid on the block....Nico!!!
This boy definitely has the right stuff!!!
Nico has had TPLO surgery after cranial cruciate ligament degeneration. Using hydrotherapy to help strengthen and build back the lost muscle, whilst improving his range of movement.
This was his second session with me today and he's doing amazing. Welcome to the family Nico?!!

Due to the increase In temperature I have made the decision to close today.

My first priority is always the health of the dogs.

Temperature outside is 31 degrees today, which is far to hot.

I will continue to monitor the temperature closely over the next couple of days. It's supposed to be a lot cooler tomorrow.

But if I have to cancel sessions at short notice I can only apologise, and we can reschedule.

But the health of the dogs and preventing heat exertion, has to be the most important factor. πŸΆπŸ’–

This was how Alfie felt about Thursday today.πŸ˜‚

I love having conversations with my patients, we have the best chats.

Alfie did go into the treadmill though when he was ready, and did his session.

But on a serious note, there is never No rushing here at Roots to Rehab. It's no one elses session except from theirs and if Alfie had decided he hadn't wanted his session today, it wouldn't have taken place. It's all about choice.

Lots of activity on my trail cam last night.
I just love wildlife, we are so lucky.
First time Mr fox has visited.
But Miss Tiggy - Winkle and her pals are regulars.
