We're looking for a super-creative, multi-talented person to lead our new venture: Persona Prints.

The role in brief:

Creative Enterprise Lead
Learning Disability Day Service
18.5 hours per week
£28,142 - £28,598 pa
Based at our workshop in Bury
Closing date: 26/06/26

More detail:

As creative enterprise lead you will:
- lead design and print production
- support and motivate adults with learning disabilities, autism or additional support needs to develop ideas, understand design briefs and produce high-quality work
- ensure final products meet quality standards and customer expectations

You'll need to be able to:
- recognise people's individual abilities, communication styles and support needs
- adapt tasks and teaching methods as needed
- develop workplans, manage stock and production timescales

You'll need to have:
- practical experience in supported employment, work-based learning or creative workshops
- understanding of Positive Behavioural Support
- knowledge of basic design software
- awareness of health and safety issues

Who: everyone over 50 who lives in the Bury borough
When: Wednesday 10th June 10am-2pm

When: every 2 weeks on a Wednesday from 12pm-3pm
Where: first at Topping Fold Community Centre, alternating with Bury Active Women's Centre on South Cross Street

"I like to keep on top of the gardening as it makes it an easier job and it helps relax my mind."

While Alan was staying at Elmhurst over National Gardening Week, Rihanat and Faye supported him with some weeding and planting.

Faye and Rihanat were with us on a work placement, to learn more about working in short stay care. "Everyone was really welcoming and included us in planning future activities at Elmhurst."

"We felt very happy and appreciated to help Alan do something he cares about. We enjoyed chatting while we worked, hearing about Alan's experiences," they said.
