📍 Location: Tranmere,
💷 Salary: £70,000 per annum
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday + on-call responsibilities
🏠 Flexible Working: Flexible hours and the opportunity to work from home on Fridays, where appropriate
Are you an experienced and passionate leader in children’s residential care? We’re looking for an ambitious Children’s Residential Manager to lead a home and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people.
In this senior leadership role, you’ll be responsible for:
✨ Leading and developing a high-performing residential care team
🛡️ Ensuring outstanding safeguarding, welfare and care standards
🏡 Creating a safe, stable and nurturing environment
📋 Ensuring compliance with Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation
👥 Managing recruitment, training, supervision and staff development
💙 Promoting therapeutic and trauma-informed care
📈 Driving continuous improvement and positive outcomes for young people
We’re looking for someone with:
✔️ Significant experience in children’s residential care
✔️ Previous supervisory, deputy management or management experience
✔️ Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge
✔️ A good understanding of Ofsted regulations
✔️ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to achieve it
✔️ Excellent leadership, communication and people-management skills
