Some of you asked how my Mantis Piercings cope with Hay Fever and last weekend was definitely the highest test that pollen has thrown their way so far. I am pleased to say though that they survived in fine style and despite the odd moment of discomfort caused by repeated use of tissues, it's all good! These babies are survivors for sure.

Looking forward to moving a couple of the students on my 12 month mentorship programme into the higher intermediate module. These lovely people have worked so hard and have now carried out close to 2000 piercings at beginner and lower intermediate to perfect some basic skills. The motivation coming through from people wanting to join the industry right now is epic in comparison to last year! Its all about the graft at this stage but these two are constantly working like the rent is due and it shows

Flashback to last month's trip to France. I would love to move here and start making everyone shiny but there do not seem to be many piercers in the parts of France we visited even though there are lots of Tattoo studios. Maybe that is a sign not to try, or perhaps the opposite(!)
