‘Falknor’s needling’, is a minimally invasive procedure to treat verrucae pedis. Under local anaesthetic a fine needle breaks down the verruca cell wall which in turn triggers the body’s immune system to fight off the virus.

Swift, a tissue ablation tool to treat your verruca is available at Buxton Clinic! The treatment uses microwaves which heat the warty tissue in a highly controlled manner. The wart is sensitive to heat and this results in tissue damage/death to the cell membrane and structure. This in turn activates your body’s immune response! Irene joins us from a background in customer service and sales. Working for 25 years in the travel industry where she developed her passion for seeing the world, and more recently for an on-line seller of garden machinery.
Living locally in Buxton, she enjoys dog walking, spending time with friends and travelling to new destinations with her family.
Irene will be looking after our administration and bookings at the Chapel-en-le-Frith clinic where she looks forward to greeting you.

A reoccurring ingrown toenail spike can easily be removed under local anaesthetic. When the toe is numb you won’t feel it being removed.
