🌸 TONIGHT | SUNDAY EVENING MEDITATION | 10PM BST 🌸

What if the peace we long to see in the world begins with the way we treat ourselves? ❤️

We often want to bring more love, kindness, compassion and peace into the world around us.

But before we can truly share unconditional love with others, perhaps we need to begin by offering that same love to ourselves.

Tonight’s meditation will gently guide us inward, using breathwork and visualisation to imagine a lotus blossom opening within our heart centre.

With each breath, we’ll create space to release some of the old programmes and beliefs that can hold us back:

🌿 “I’m not enough.”
🌿 “I don’t deserve time for myself.”
🌿 “I must always put others first.”
🌿 “I can’t let go of what has happened.”

And instead, we’ll open ourselves to acceptance, compassion, joy, forgiveness and inner peace.

Then we’ll allow that love to flow outward — like a beautiful fountain whose waters ripple across the pond of life, touching others with kindness and compassion.

Because we don't have to approve of behaviour that has hurt us.

We don't have to forget.

And we don't have to deny our feelings.

But we can choose whether we continue to carry the pain.

Love begins within.
Peace begins within.
And from there, the ripples can spread. 🌊❤️

FIND YOUR BALANCE. FIND YOUR FOCUS.

Warrior III — Virabhadrasana III — is a pose of strength, balance and concentration.

But balance doesn’t mean everything around us has to be perfectly still.

Sometimes it means learning how to remain steady while life is moving around us.

Through mindful movement, breathwork and meditation, we can create moments to reconnect with ourselves, focus our attention and build resilience for the challenges of everyday life.

At Unity in Health Cymru CIC, we believe small, regular wellbeing practices can help us feel more grounded, focused and connected.

Stand strong.
Breathe steadily.
Move forward with purpose.

🌙 TONIGHT AT 10PM — ONLINE MEDITATION 🕊️

Returning to the Peace Within

What if peace isn't something we have to find?

What if, beneath the noise of our thoughts, our emotions, our worries and everything life brings us, there is already a place within us that is peaceful, loving and whole?

Tonight's meditation explores this idea through the beautiful image of a still lake.

Life will always create ripples — difficult experiences, disappointments, mistakes, fears and moments of judgement.

But beneath the ripples, the water remains still.

And perhaps we are like that too.

✨ Beneath the surface of our human experience, there is something deeper.

A quiet place within the heart that knows love, compassion and peace.

Through gentle breathing and awareness of the heart centre, we'll take some time to return to that place.

To soften judgement.

To offer ourselves forgiveness.

To extend compassion to others.

And, most importantly, to remember that we don't have to lose ourselves in every ripple. We can return.

🕙 Tonight — Sunday 23rd August | 10pm BST

A gentle, contemplative meditation to close the weekend and come home to yourself.

No experience necessary. Simply bring yourself as you are.

STRENGTH ISN’T ALWAYS ABOUT STANDING TALL.
SOMETIMES, IT’S ABOUT STAYING STEADY.

Chair Pose — Utkatasana — is often associated with strength, stability, determination and resilience.

It asks us to stay grounded while experiencing challenge.

To find steadiness when our body is working.
To breathe rather than immediately react.

And perhaps there’s something we can take from that into everyday life.

We can’t always remove the pressures around us — at home, at work or in our communities. But we can develop tools that help us respond differently.

Through breathwork, mindful movement and meditation, we can learn to find moments of calm and stability, even when life feels demanding.

At Unity in Health Cymru CIC, this mind–body connection sits at the heart of what we do.

Be grounded. Breathe. Stay steady.

Who are Unity in Health Cymru CIC?

Unity in Health Cymru CIC is a Welsh social enterprise dedicated to making wellbeing practical, accessible and part of everyday life. We exist to bring together health, wellbeing, community and education, helping people develop the skills and confidence to take an active role in their own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Our work is rooted in a simple principle: when people are supported with the right tools, they can build lasting resilience and improve their own wellbeing.

Through our programmes, workshops and community initiatives, we bring together approaches including:

• Breathwork and breathing practices
• Yoga and gentle movement
• Mindfulness and meditation
• Stress management and resilience
• Nature-based wellbeing and walking
• Qigong
• Nutrition and healthy lifestyle awareness
• Leadership and facilitator development

Our 5-week Mind & Body Wellness Programme sits at the heart of much of our work, helping participants explore the connection between the mind, body and breath while developing techniques they can continue to practise long after the programme has finished.

We are proud to work across communities, workplaces and healthcare settings, including ongoing collaboration with the NHS in Wales, supporting preventative wellbeing approaches and helping to complement existing health services with accessible, non-clinical wellbeing support.

We also work closely with Cardiff University medical students, contributing to their learning around holistic health, prevention, and the role of lifestyle and mind-body approaches in modern healthcare. As part of this work, medical students are also introduced to practical tools and techniques they can use to manage their own stress levels, support emotional regulation, and help reduce the risk of burnout during their training and future clinical careers. This helps future clinicians not only understand wellbeing in theory, but also experience and apply it in their own lives.

To ensure our work is meaningful, effective and evidence-informed, our programmes are also being independently evaluated by Swansea University. This research partnership is helping us better understand impact, outcomes and long-term benefits for participants, and supports our commitment to continuous improvement and transparency.

And we don’t want the impact to end when a course finishes.

Through ongoing support and the development of new facilitators, we’re working towards something bigger: creating sustainable wellbeing opportunities that can reach more people and more communities across Wales.

This is Unity in Health Cymru CIC.

Connecting people.
Building resilience.
Supporting healthier communities.
Creating wellbeing that lasts.

Wellbeing for Wales – together.

19/08/2026

Take 37 seconds for yourself today.

No instructions.
No list of things you need to achieve.
No pressure to be productive.

Just watch the water, notice the movement and take a few slower breaths.

Sometimes wellbeing can begin with something as simple as giving our attention to what is happening around us.

Nature has a wonderful way of reminding us that we don’t always have to rush.

Wherever Wednesday finds you today, give yourself permission to pause for a moment.

Breathe. Notice. Reset.

Monday morning doesn’t have to begin at full speed.

Before you step into the demands of the week, take a moment to pause.

Place both feet on the floor.
Relax your shoulders.
Breathe in slowly through your nose.
Breathe out gently—and make your out-breath a little longer.

Repeat three times.

You may not be able to control everything the week brings, but you can choose how you meet its first few moments.

Start gently. Breathe deeply. Take one step at a time.

A gentle Sunday morning reminder: your body often tells you what it needs—sometimes we simply need to pause and listen.

Whether you are experiencing tight shoulders, a stiff back, tired legs or tension around the neck, a few minutes of mindful movement can help you feel more comfortable and connected to your body.

Choose one gentle yoga pose from our body map, move slowly and breathe naturally. There is no need to push or achieve the “perfect” position—work within a range that feels safe and comfortable for you.

Small movements can make a meaningful difference to how you begin your day.

Which part of your body needs a little extra care this morning?

Please seek appropriate professional advice before exercising if you have an injury, health condition or concerns about whether these movements are suitable for you.
