Reflecting on my week so far I feel incredibly blessed to do my job.

This week so far I’ve carried out 4 ADOS assessments in Swansea; 1 ADOS in Newport and 4 ADOS assessments in Exeter.

My diary has been a mix of private commissioned and NHS commissioned work and has been a range of ages and genders.

The common theme is making sure who I’m assessing feels as comfortable as possible and able to talk about topics that can be tricky.

What helps for some is seeing where we’ll be working; having a brief description of what we’ll be doing and a recent photo of me ahead of the assessment. Here’s one of them!

Chris will be visiting at least once a month to help reduce the travel for those families previously travelling to Caerphilly to us.
