A little reminder that’s well worth sharing…

If you were a sunbaker back in the day and used oil to enhance your glow and/or you grew up or lived in sunnier climes, this is for you.

However, it’s also for anyone that has ever been outside! So that’s all of us…..

After our hot, sunny summer, now’s a good time to take a careful look at your skin. Yes it may be boring and tedious but it could save your life.

Check for any new or changing moles, unusual marks, persistent itching, bleeding or areas that aren’t healing.

Caring for our skin isn’t only about how it looks - it’s also about noticing changes and listening when our body asks for attention.

If anything concerns you, please arrange to have it checked by your GP. 🙏🏼

Morning Tonic to help digestion and wellbeing

🤎 Prune juice
🥛 One cup of almond milk
🫐 Three frozen blueberries
🌿 A sprig of fresh mint

I’m feeling slightly bedraggled after a week of intense back pain (slipped disc due to picking up a heavy suitcase 🙄), high temperatures and little quality sleep.

I love a coffee for its instant buzz, but I also adore prunes. Yes, I know…I’m weird!

So this morning I raided the kitchen cupboard and whizzed up a simple, refreshing tonic. Prune juice with unsweetened almond milk, three blueberries and a sprig of mint. Et voila…

An absolutely delicious drink, fabulous for wellbeing with wonderful benefits:

Natural sorbitol and polyphenols to relieve constipation and help with flow(!)

Nourishes beneficial gut bacteria

Rich in potassium for heart, muscle and nerve function (hoping my femoral nerve will calm down soon!!)

London yesterday for my Health Coaching Graduation Ceremony, and wow, what a day it was.✨

So many inspiring people and it was deeply moving hearing everyone’s “why” and their reasons for wanting to help people live healthier and happier lives.

It was a salient reminder that this qualification isn’t really about me, it’s about you:

Your energy, your wellbeing and your life.

This new chapter of my work is about helping you to make simple, realistic and meaningful lifestyle changes that feel supportive, realistic and sustainable.

No pressure, just gentle, quiet, calm shifts that make you feel more like yourself again.

This is the start of something special.

Too many people live an habituated life and get stuck. Through duty, loyalty or lack of respect for themselves. Autopilot means that we can feel unfulfilled, unfocused, sluggish and miserable.😵‍💫

Of course life can be challenging and tough. You may not feel resilient at times and adversity hurts. But know that lighter, brighter days are there for the taking. 🤸🏻‍♀️

Hold your head up, flip the narrative and release the doubt. 🛼

You are loved and appreciated and you are strong. However hard it seems though, you can sing and dance to your own tune. 💃🏽 🕺🏽

Go do what lights you up. ✨
