Premier Education is the UK’s No.1 provider of sport and physical activity to primary schools. Our sessions are designed for children of all abilities and are run by highly trained professionals. In the Cambridge and Newmarket area we work i

n over 60 schools on a weekly basis supporting teachers, parents and children with Curricular Support, Extra Curricular Clubs, Wraparound Care, Premier Wellbeing (nutritional lessons) and Game of Actual Life (life skills programme for years 5 & 6. In the holidays we also deliver Multi Activity or Sports specific to engage all children and demographics. Typically held at school venues or leisure settings between 8.45am and 4pm. Our Start Sporty sessions are a fun way for early years to take their first steps in to physical activity and sport, with the fundamentals of movement being delivered through story telling. These are delivered in nurseries or playgroups or at the weekend. We continued to work with schools during lockdown, supporting with key worker and critical worker children. Therefore we have robust processes in place and our staff have completed Infection Prevention Level 2 qualifications to help ensure safe provision. Thanks to our longstanding reputation, we’ve been able to partner with UK Sports Associations. These partnerships allow us to offer comprehensive training to all our staff – that’s over 1000 coaches – to make sure every product we offer is world-class. Day 2 of CPD complete! 🔥

After a fantastic first day of staff 𝐂𝐏𝐃, we continued our preparation for the new school year today, with a more 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 day across our 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 and 𝐖𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞 teams.

Each department had the opportunity to focus on the skills, knowledge and practical delivery that will help us continue to provide 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 across our schools. Today was all about 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐝𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝.

And what better way to round off two days of CPD than by celebrating some of the incredible people who helped make last school year such a success!

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐙𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 — challenging ourselves, sharing ideas and learning from one another
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 — getting hands-on and putting ideas into practice across the different sessions we deliver in our schools

We also welcomed James Russell, who delivered a fantastic 𝐁𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬, giving our staff practical ideas and strategies to support positive behaviour across all the different types of sessions we run. 👏

There’s been a brilliant mix of discussion, practical learning and collaboration throughout the day, with our staff continuing to push themselves and develop the skills they need to deliver the very best experiences for the children we work with.

We’ve got something extra special happening at The University of Cambridge Primary School Holiday Camp tomorrow – Friday 14th August!

We’re excited to welcome back from BMX Academy for an action-packed BMX & Scooter Experience, starting from 9:00am.

🏆 Meet Mike Mullen
Mike is an ex-professional BMX rider and 6x Halfpipe Champion, with an incredible 19 years of experience inspiring and working with young people in schools.

Children attending camp will have the opportunity to get involved in professionally delivered BMX and scooter sessions, learn new skills, build confidence and experience something a little different!

✅ NO additional charge – the experience is included as part of the normal holiday camp day
🚲 BMX bikes provided
🛴 Scooters provided
⛑️ All required safety equipment provided
🙌 Participation is completely optional

A great day on the course, and for a cause that matters. ⛳️

Our team golf social was all about getting together, having some fun, stepping away from the day-to-day — and raising money to support cancer research.

With the frequent questionable shot, it was a brilliant team experience with a bigger purpose behind it.

🏆 Well done to our winning team, Connor and Alfredo, who came out on top.

🎯 Congratulations to Hannah, who won the closest-to-the-pin challenge.

And we’re almost at our £1,000 fundraising target, with plenty of time left to get there.

A great team day, a bit of healthy competition, and a worthwhile cause behind it. 💚

It’ll be a great opportunity for some fun and team building.

With a few of us never having played golf before, this could get very interesting!

More importantly, we’re taking part to raise money for cancer research.

What an incredible week at our Performing Arts & Dance Camp at Milton Road Primary School! 🌟

Our biggest Dance camp yet, with an amazing group of children enjoying cheerleading, dance, and a variety of fun performing arts activities throughout the week.

It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm, confidence, creativity, and teamwork grow each day. From learning new routines to making new friends, every child gave it their all and should be so proud of what they achieved.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful coaches, and of course the parents for their continued support. Most importantly, well done to every single child for bringing the energy, smiles, and positivity that made this our best camp yet!

We can’t wait to do it all again soon!
