​Cover-ups are a true test of placement and color theory. Dee took the bright tones of the original abstract splash and beautifully incorporated them into a brand-new narrative.

By using deep, rich and high-contrast lines for the center of the lily, Dee seamlessly masked the old ink, while the soft pink and turquoise watercolor splashes flow perfectly with the natural curve of the shoulder.
