Welcome to the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David parish in Cambridge England.

Our vision is to build a Church where friendship, trust, and loyalty are valued. Our passion is to be a healthy family of individuals who experience the love of God together, and then express this love one to another, and to a spiritually disconnected and often emotionally hurting generation of seekers, who are yet to come into friendship with God. Our goal is to help all people move towards whol

eness in Christ (spiritually, emotionally, relationally, physically and financially) and accordingly provide many helpful ways for people to grow in authentic devotion to Christ. Our desire is to build a church where friendship, trust, and loyalty are valued. We recognise how difficult it is to make and keep real friends, therefore, we’re committed to building a church where relationships are highly valued and small groups of people learning to be friends are encouraged to cultivate these relationships through regular fellowship. We are also committed to communicating and teaching timeless and relevant truths of the wisdom of God and the new life in Christ through contemporary, creative, and culturally relevant means attractive to a post-modern generation of seekers. Lastly, we recognise the reality that most people come to and mature in Christ over time. Therefore, we respect and encourage this growth process by demonstrating understanding and extending grace to everyone.

🎉 Today, we celebrate someone who helps our young people see that their faith and their future matter to God.

Happy birthday to our Youth Pastor, Pastor Amos Akinwale!

As your RCCG City of David Cambridge family, we thank God for your life and ministry. Thank you for investing your time, care and encouragement in helping young people grow in faith, discover their God-given purpose and follow Jesus. We are grateful for your commitment to nurturing the next generation.

Our prayer for you echoes Numbers 6:24: ‘The Lord bless you and keep you.’ 🙏

May God renew your strength, deepen your wisdom and fill your heart with joy. May He give you fresh grace for every responsibility, guide your steps and bless you and your family in the year ahead.

🌍❤️ OUR STORIES BEGAN IN DIFFERENT PLACES. TODAY, THEY CAME TOGETHER IN WORSHIP.

What a beautiful Multicultural Service at RCCG City of David Cambridge! Today, we celebrated the richness of our cultures and the love of Jesus that makes us one family. 🙌

Different nations, languages and traditions, each bringing something special to our church community. Together, we gathered with grateful hearts to honour the God who loves us all.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and everyone who served to make today special. We are grateful to God for the joy of belonging, worshipping and growing together. ❤️

🎂💍 Happy birthday to all our September celebrants, and happy wedding anniversary to every couple celebrating this month! We thank God for your lives and marriages. From preaching the Word and leading worship to choir, dance, conversations, laughter, and a fully engaged congregation, our teenagers brought their personalities, creativity, and God-given gifts into every part of the service. 🙌

And perhaps the greatest takeaway?
They reminded us that they are not simply the Church of tomorrow. They are a powerful and important part of the Church today. 🔥

We also celebrated those beginning a new chapter as they transitioned from the Teenagers’ Department into RGEN, our Radical Generation youth ministry. 🎓❤️

🔥 THE NEXT GENERATION TOOK THE LEAD TODAY! 🔥

What a powerful and joy-filled Teenagers’ Takeover Service at RCCG City of David Cambridge! ❤️

Today was a beautiful reminder that our teenagers are not simply the Church of tomorrow. They are gifted, passionate and an important part of the Church today.

From the praise and worship, vibrant choir and dance ministrations, and thought-provoking panel discussions, to the completely ‘not rigged’ Parents vs Teens Bible Quiz 😂📖 and the preaching of God’s Word, our teenagers stepped forward boldly and used their gifts for God’s glory. 🙌

Another very special moment followed. 🎓❤️

We celebrated some of our teenagers as they graduated from the Teenagers’ Department and transitioned into RGEN, our youth ministry.

It marked the beginning of a new chapter in their walk with God as they continue to grow, serve, discover their purpose and become everything God has called them to be.

To every teenager who ministered, served and participated today, we are incredibly proud of you. Keep growing. Keep shining. Keep choosing Jesus. 🌱🔥

And to the parents, Teenagers’ Department leaders, Teenager teachers, and volunteers who continue to pray, nurture, encourage and invest in this generation, thank you. The seeds you are planting matter.

🔥 EXACTLY TWO MONTHS TO GO! 🔥

Before Gideon saw himself as courageous, God had already called him to rise.

Today, 24th August, marks exactly two months until the RGEN Youth Conference 2026, and the countdown has officially begun!

This October, RGEN presents:

AUDACITY

📖 ‘…Go in the strength you have…’ - Judges 6:14

God did not call Gideon because he felt fearless or fully prepared. He called him to move forward in the strength he already had.
AUDACITY is a call to a generation of young people who are ready to step out of hiding, overcome fear, embrace their God-given identity and boldly answer the call of God.

It is time to move from fear to faith.
From hesitation to obedience.
From limitation to purpose.
From hiding to audacity.

Today was a wonderful time spent in God’s presence.

We are grateful for His presence, His love, and the privilege of worshipping together.

We also had the joy of celebrating a very special 60th birthday today! 🎉🎂 What a beautiful milestone and another reminder of God’s faithfulness through the years. We pray that this new chapter will be filled with even greater grace, joy and fulfilment.
