As we enter September and move towards harvest season, we're reminded that growth doesn't happen overnight.

The seeds we plant, nurture and tend to throughout the year eventually become the things we get to harvest 🌾

Our lives are much the same.

🌱 The habits you're building.
🌱 The boundaries you're setting.
🌱 The intentions you're nurturing.
🌱 The small steps you're taking towards what matters.

You might not see the results yet, but that doesn't mean you're not growing.

This September, embrace the harvest mindset: focus less on how far you still have to go and more on what you're planting today for your future self.

πŸ‘‰ What are you ready to cultivate this season? Let me know in the comments!

πŸ’” Grief doesn't follow a timeline πŸ’”

It can be gentle one day and overwhelming the next. You might feel like you're finding your feet, only to be caught off guard by a memory, a song, a date, or something completely unexpected.

And that's okay.

Grief isn't something you simply "get over." It's something you learn to carry, in your own time and in your own way.

Some days, swimming might mean talking about the person you've lost. Other days, it might mean resting, crying, laughing, or simply getting through the day.

There is no right way to grieve. There is no schedule you need to follow.

So be gentle with yourself. You don't have to pretend you're okay, and you don't have to navigate the waves alone 🌊

Grief can make even the simplest things feel difficult πŸ˜”

The most supportive thing you can do is focus on one small act of care at a timeβ€”a walk outside, a few gentle breaths, a conversation with someone you trust, or simply giving yourself permission to rest.

In honour of Grief Awareness Day, here are a few gentle ways to support yourself through the grieving process β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή

Walking can be a wonderful way to support your wellbeingβ€”but when you combine it with mindful breathing, gentle awareness, and intentional attention, it can become something more.

✨ I've created a FREE Walking Meditation for Mental Health to help you step away from the noise, reconnect with your body, and create a little more calm and clarity.

You don't need to sit still or find a perfectly quiet space.

Just put on your headphones, step outside, and let the rhythm of walking guide you.

β˜€οΈ Before August comes to an end, take a moment to reset.

August can be a busy month. Holidays, social plans, and disrupted routine can leave you arriving at the end of the month feeling more drained than refreshed.

So before you rush into September, give yourself a little space to pause, reflect, and reset πŸ§˜β€β™€οΈ

Set one intention for your mind, one for your body, and one for your soul.

For example:

🧠 Mind: I will speak to myself with greater kindness.
🌿 Body: I will make more time to move, rest, and spend time outdoors.
✨ Soul: I will stop postponing the things that matter most.

Your intentions don't need to be big. They simply need to reflect what you genuinely need and value right now.

What do you want to carry into September? And what are you ready to leave behind?

πŸ“– Check out this month's blog post (link in bio) for a guided August intention setting practice.

22nd August is 'Be an Angel Day' πŸ˜‡

It's a beautiful reminder that we don't need to do something extraordinary to make a difference.

Sometimes it's checking in on someone who's struggling, paying someone a genuine compliment, helping a stranger, or simply offering a little more patience and compassion.

You never know how much a small act of kindness might mean to someone.

So today, look for an opportunity to brighten up someone's day πŸ•Š

One small act. One person. One ripple of kindness.

And perhaps that's how we change the world πŸ’› 🌍

Never giving up doesn't always mean pushing through no matter what.

Sometimes it means knowing when to pause.
Sometimes it means asking for help.
Sometimes it means letting yourself grieve what didn't work out, then finding the courage to begin again.

We often imagine resilience as being tough enough to withstand anything.

But real resilience can be much gentler than that.

It's adapting. Resting. Reaching out. Learning. Starting again.

If you're facing a setback right now, don't mistake your exhaustion for weakness or your slower pace for failure.

You are still moving forward, even when progress looks different from what you imagined πŸ’ͺ 🫢

Many of us have become so used to being busy that slowing down can feel uncomfortable and even unproductive.

But relaxation isn't the opposite of productivity. It's what makes sustainable productivity possible.

When you allow your mind and body to rest, you regulate your nervous system, reduce stress hormones, and cultivate a sense of inner and outer peace.

So today, give yourself permission to pause and find peace 😌

When was the last time you truly relaxed?

Not scrolling on your phone.
Not watching TV while thinking about tomorrow's to-do list.

I mean really allowing your mind and body to slow down.

One of the quickest ways to do that is through your breath 🌬️

πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈ In honour of National Relaxation Day this Saturday, try this simple breathing exercise:

1. Breathe in for 4 seconds
2. Exhale slowly for 8 seconds

Repeat for 1–2 minutes.

The longer exhale helps activate your body's relaxation response, signalling to your nervous system that you're safe and it's okay to let go of tension 😌
