Caring for someone else requires immense patience, strength, compassion, and sacrifice. Yet many carers become so focused on supporting others that they forget to care for themselves.
If you're a carer, please know this:
✨ It's okay to ask for help.
✨ It's okay to take a break.
✨ It's okay to have difficult days.
✨ And it's okay to prioritise your own wellbeing too.
Looking after yourself helps you sustain the energy, resilience, and emotional capacity needed to care for others.
This National Carers Week, take a moment to acknowledge everything you do and everything you carry. Give yourself the same kindness and compassion that you so freely give to others 🫶
