We’ve been thinking about the environmental impact of the technology we use - including AI.
AI has been incredibly helpful in reducing the administrative burden of running a small healthcare business, but we also recognise that it uses energy and resources.
As one practical step, we calculated a contribution of £10 for each month of AI use over the past year. Cotton Nursing Solutions has therefore donated £120 to the Centre for Sustainable Healthcare, a charity working to reduce healthcare’s environmental impact and create a more sustainable healthcare system.
We’re not claiming that one donation cancels everything out. It’s simply our way of acknowledging the impact, supporting work that reflects our healthcare values and committing to use technology thoughtfully.
