🌹🎶 Always Learning, Always Growing 🎶🌹

Tomorrow I’m heading off on another little adventure… ❤️

I’ll be attending “Levels of Consciousness & Sound”, a three-day gong workshop campout with the rather fabulous Roger Gong. 🥰🎶

A journey into the transformative power of sound, surrounded by gongs, learning, exploration and other blessed souls who share a love and curiosity for this beautiful work.

Although gongs are already very much a part of the sound experiences I offer at The Healing and Reading Room, I believe there is always more to learn.

More techniques to explore.
More knowledge to deepen.
More ways to listen, feel and understand the instruments we work with.

For me, training isn’t simply about collecting another certificate. It’s about continuing to grow as a practitioner and bringing that learning back into the experiences I create for the people who place their trust in me. 🤍

And, of course, I absolutely LOVE gongs… so three days immersed in their sound, and learning alongside other beautiful souls sounds rather fabulous to me! 😂❤️🎶

I’m looking forward to seeing where this particular adventure takes me and what new knowledge, inspiration and experiences I bring home with me.

The journey continues… 🌹🎶

Much love,
Lucy xx

🌹✨ The Magic Happens in the Conversation ✨🌹

Yesterday I had the pleasure of delivering Session Two of my Wish Fulfilled & Abundance three-session package. 🤍

The session actually lasted quite a bit longer than I had originally planned — and sometimes, that is exactly what needs to happen.

I always create a structure and intended pathway for my sessions. There are things I hope we will explore and places I hope to gently guide the client towards.

But then there are those golden moments.

A client says something.

They stop.

They make a connection.

They recognise a pattern or belief for themselves.

And suddenly you can almost see the dots joining together.

Those are the moments I don’t want to rush simply because my session plan says it’s time to move onto the next thing.

Because sometimes the greatest realisation isn’t something I can give somebody.

It’s something they discover for themselves. 🌱

My role is to create the space, ask the questions, gently challenge where appropriate and help them explore what is already beginning to emerge.

That’s also why this work is so bespoke.

I may have a framework. I may adapt exercises or materials I’ve created previously. But no two sessions can ever really be the same because no two people — and no two conversations — are the same.

The Wish Fulfilled journey gradually unfolds across three sessions:

✨ Session One — Discovery
What does my Wish Fulfilled actually mean? What do I really want beneath the old stories, expectations and beliefs?

✨ Session Two — Realisation & Possibility
Beginning to join the dots. Recognising patterns. Challenging beliefs that may no longer fit. Exploring different possibilities and beginning to realise that perhaps what I want really is possible.

✨ Session Three — Integration & Moving Forward
Bringing everything together and exploring how I take these discoveries forward into my life with greater hope, understanding and belief in what may be possible for me.

And the work doesn’t necessarily finish when the session does.

Sometimes another realisation arrives hours or days later. That’s why I check in between sessions too. The client isn’t simply handed a worksheet and sent away to figure everything out alone. 🤍

Depending upon the individual, sessions may incorporate conversation, bespoke visual exercises, guided meditation, music, therapeutic sound, tuning forks and other elements chosen specifically to support their journey.

Yesterday I had the privilege of watching a rather fabulous client make some of those connections for themselves.

And that’s the bit I love.

Not telling somebody who they should become.

Not promising to “fix” them.

But helping someone explore, question, recognise and perhaps begin to see that the life they are hoping for may not be quite as far beyond their reach as they once believed. ❤️

Session Two complete.

And I’m genuinely excited to see where Session Three takes them. 🌹

If you’d like to know more about my Wish Fulfilled & Abundance three-session package, or you’d like to explore whether I could create a bespoke journey around something you’re working through, you’re very welcome to message me.

Much Love
Lucy Xx 🌹🎶❤️

🌹❤️🌈🎶 Tonight I am sitting with an incredibly full and grateful heart. 🤍🌹❤️🌈🎶

At the end of a client’s second and final session with me today, she gifted me this beautiful little bag of friendship.

Such a simple, thoughtful gift — and yet it meant so much. 🥹💕

Later this evening, she returned to The Healing and Reading Room with four other beautiful souls for a private sound bath.

Five people sharing the same room.

The same instruments.

The same sounds.

And yet five completely individual experiences.

That is one of the things I find so extraordinary about this work.

I don’t believe that I am there to dictate what somebody should experience. My role is to create and hold the space, to listen, to use my training and intuition, and then allow the instruments — including my own voice — to offer what they have to offer.

And, within my own spiritual beliefs, I invite my spiritual team to work alongside me, trusting that each soul will receive whatever they need from the experience. 🙏✨

Days like today remind me why I do this.

Seeing somebody begin to walk forward with a little more hope.

A little more optimism.

A little more belief in themselves.

A little more courage to use their voice, make their own choices and live their life more fully.

That is the medicine I adore. 🤍

And then watching five people leave a sound bath having each experienced something uniquely their own reminds me again that there is no single way to receive this work.

I use my gongs, bowls, drums, chimes, tuning forks and voice…

But ultimately, the person receiving remains at the centre of their own journey.

Perhaps that is why I struggle to think of what I do as simply work.

It feels much deeper than that.

It feels like part of my soul’s mission.

Something that fills my own heart while hopefully helping another person to walk their path a little more confidently.

I don’t need to walk that path for them.

I simply get the enormous privilege of walking alongside them for a little while. 🌹

And today, looking at this little bag of friendship, I am reminded of something else too:

Healing may be a personal journey, but none of us has to journey through life alone.

What an incredibly beautiful day.

Feeling very, very blessed tonight. 🙏💜

Thank you to every soul who trusts me enough to step through the door of The Healing and Reading Room and allows me to be a small part of their journey.

Much love, Lucy Xx🌹🌈❤️🎶

💙🌹 Choosing Yourself Doesn't Mean Choosing Only Yourself 🌹💙

Something I have been reflecting on while preparing for a client's session today is the idea of choosing ourselves.

We hear so much about independence, boundaries, finding our voice, putting ourselves first and learning to stand on our own two feet.

And all of those things can be incredibly important. 🤍

Healing and personal growth are personal journeys.

There are parts of ourselves that only we can explore.
Choices that only we can make.
Words that only we can speak.
And nobody else can do our healing or live our lives for us.

But I think there is another part of the conversation that is equally important.

Choosing yourself doesn't mean you have to choose only yourself.

You can learn to use your voice without pushing away the people who love you.

You can become more independent while still allowing yourself to receive support.

You can create healthy boundaries and still have beautiful friendships.

You can stand on your own two feet while allowing somebody you love to stand beside you.

You can say “I matter too” without saying “only I matter.”

Because we are human beings, and connection matters. 🌹

The right relationships don't require us to disappear within them. They give us room to become more fully ourselves.

Sometimes healing is learning to stand alone.

But sometimes healing is also recognising that we don't always have to.

It's allowing ourselves to be loved.

To be supported.

To laugh with someone.

To ask for help.

To listen and be listened to.

To celebrate the people who walk beside us and recognise the difference their love has made.

Today, while creating a playlist to accompany a client's journey forward, I deliberately chose to finish it with a song about connection.

After all the music about courage, independence, confidence, finding your voice and choosing yourself, I wanted the final message to bring everything back home:

✨ I can choose myself without disconnecting from the people I love.
✨ I can be independent and still receive support.
✨ I can use my voice and still belong.
✨ I can stand on my own feet while allowing other people to stand beside me.

Because perhaps the goal was never to need nobody.

Perhaps it's to know who we are while loving, and allowing ourselves to be loved by, the people who genuinely walk beside us.

Healing may be personal.

But we don't have to journey alone. 🤍

Much love Lucy Xx🌹

🌹❤Do you ever find yourself staying quiet when you actually have something to say?❤🌹

Maybe you find it difficult to say 'no'.

Maybe you worry about upsetting other people, so you put their needs before your own.

Maybe you rehearse what you want to say in your head… but when the moment comes, the words don't quite make it out.

Or perhaps you've simply become so used to looking after everyone else that you've stopped asking:

“What do I need?” 🤍

This is some of what we'll be gently exploring in:

🌹Online Voice & Self-Care — Part One: I Hear Myself🌹

This isn't about becoming louder or learning to speak perfectly.

It's about beginning to 'hear yourself'.

During our 90 minutes together, we'll explore the relationship between your voice, your needs and your self-care through gentle reflection, practical exercises and supportive discussion.

You don't need to be confident.
You don't need to be good at speaking in groups.
And you certainly don't need to have all the answers.

You can simply come as you are. 🤍

Because using our voice isn't always about speaking louder.

Sometimes it's saying:

✨ This matters to me.
✨ This doesn't feel right for me.
✨ I need some time.
✨ No, thank you.
✨ This is what I would like.
✨ I deserve to be heard too.

🌹🎶There Is Always More to Learn 🌹🎶

One of the things I love about continuing to attend courses and training is that they give us a safe space to practise, explore, make changes, receive feedback and, most importantly, learn.

This weekend reminded me of exactly that. 🤍

As part of my Sound Priestess training, I was asked to create and facilitate an outdoor ceremony.

I had created a structure beforehand, but after watching the ceremonies presented before mine, I found that several elements I had planned had naturally appeared within other people’s work.

So, in the moment, I chose to adapt.

Deciding to make changes in the moment taught me something really valuable about myself as a facilitator.

✨ I work best when I have a strong structure underneath me, with enough flexibility for intuition to move within it.

When we receive intuitive guidance to change direction, we can also ask for guidance around the structure and form that will hold that new direction.

That was such a useful learning point for me. A point also highlighted by my teacher Becky. 🌹

I also received some really valuable feedback around leading, call and response, boundaries and maintaining form within ceremonial work — alongside the lovely acknowledgement that my meditation was characteristically a little “quirky”. 😂 I think I’ll happily keep that bit!

Most importantly, I was reminded that training isn’t about demonstrating that we already know everything.

It’s about putting ourselves into spaces where we are allowed to practise.

To experiment.

To receive constructive feedback.

To discover our strengths.

To notice where we can improve.

And then to take that learning into the next experience.

I didn’t come away wanting to be a different facilitator.

I came away understanding how to become a stronger version of the facilitator I already am. 🌹

For me, that’s what continuing professional and personal development is all about.

We never stop learning.
We never stop growing.
And sometimes the experiences that don’t unfold exactly as we’d imagined teach us the most. 🤍

Always learning & always growing.

Much love Lucy xx 🌹🌈🎶

✨ 🌹The Cinema of Life… 🌹✨

Sitting here at Euston waiting for my train, I found myself doing something that I absolutely love to do…

Simply stopping and watching the world go by.

How often do we actually allow ourselves to do that?

For a little while, I become the observer. Around me are hundreds of people, each busy with their own mission, their own plans, their own destination. People arriving, people leaving, people meeting, people saying goodbye.

It’s almost like sitting at the cinema watching the cinema of life unfolding in front of you. ❤️

I purposely build extra time into my journeys. Partly because it takes away the stress if there are delays, but also because it creates space for moments exactly like this.

Because the journey doesn’t begin when I arrive at my destination.

The journey began the moment I stepped outside my front door.

And the journey itself is part of the experience.

Today I am loving mine. 🥰

It has already been filled with beautiful little moments, kindness from strangers, time to think, time to create, time to observe and, perhaps most importantly, time simply to be.

As the world continues turning and everyone around me keeps moving, for a little while I can simply sit here, breathe and feel incredibly grateful for this rather blessed journey I find myself on. 🙏✨

So perhaps today, wherever you are and whatever you are doing, give yourself permission to pause.

Even if it is only for a few minutes.

Stand still.

Look around you.

Breathe.

Observe.

Just be.

There is something rather magical about discovering that you don’t always have to be moving to be experiencing life. ❤️

Much love,
Lucy xx
