🌹🌈🎶 Why do I prepare my treatment room the way I do?

Before a client arrives, I often spend time quietly preparing the space, selecting crystals, affirmation cards, and symbols that feel aligned with their journey.

Not because healing is found in the objects themselves, but because every person who walks through my door deserves to feel seen, valued, and honoured.

For me, healing is about more than a treatment.

It’s about creating a space where someone can pause, breathe, reconnect with their own strength, and remember how far they have come.

🌹🌈🎶Yesterday I found myself reflecting on why I prepare my treatment room the way I do.

Before a client arrives, I often spend time sitting quietly in the space. Sometimes I am drawn to particular crystals, affirmation cards, natural objects, or symbols. I arrange them intuitively, creating what I think of as a temporary altar of support, reflection, and intention.

The interesting thing is that the altar is not really for me.

It is a way of honouring the person who is about to walk through the door.

In a world that often rushes us from one thing to the next, healing asks something different of us. It asks us to pause. To breathe. To acknowledge how far we have come.

Whether someone comes for sound healing, tuning forks, spiritual guidance, or simply a safe space to be heard, my intention is always the same:

To create an experience where they feel seen, valued, and supported.

The treatment itself is only one part of the journey.

Sometimes healing continues through a conversation, a reflection, a piece of music, a message the next day, or a gentle reminder that someone is quietly cheering them on.

For me, this work has never been about fixing people.

It is about creating a space where they can reconnect with their own strength, wisdom, and wholeness.

And perhaps that is why I love the image below and why it may resonate with many women.

For a woman who has walked through difficult seasons.
A woman who is learning to receive rather than always give.
A woman who is healing.
A woman who is growing.
A woman who is remembering who she truly is.
