I didn't set out to build a beauty brand. I just wanted to give my clients better aftercare. 🤍

When I started doing nails, I quickly realised that the appointment didn't really end when my client walked out the door.

I could create the most beautiful set possible, but if they didn't know how to look after it afterwards, so much of that work could be undone.

I wanted something I could confidently recommend.

Something my clients would actually enjoy using.

Something that felt like part of the salon experience rather than an afterthought.

So I started creating my own.

And what started with cuticle oil became Blabz Beauty Bar.

Over the years, I've developed more scents, more aftercare products, refillable products, custom branded products and treatments designed specifically with nail techs in mind.

And the funny thing is...

Even though Blabz has grown, the reason I started it hasn't changed.

I still think about the nail tech sitting at their desk trying to give their client the best possible experience.

I still think about the client leaving the salon wanting to keep their nails looking beautiful.

And I still ask myself:

“Would I be proud to use this on my own client?”

If the answer isn't yes, it's not good enough.

That's why I care so much about the little things — the scent, the texture, the packaging, how easy something is to use and whether your client will actually want to use it.

Because I know what it's like to be a nail tech.

Blabz was built from that experience.

And that's something I never want to lose. 🤍

If you're a nail tech who's been here for a while, thank you.

And if you've just found Blabz...

Welcome. 💅🏼

Your clients aren't necessarily bad at aftercare… you might just be making it too easy for them to forget👀

Be honest — how many times have you heard:

“I keep forgetting to use my cuticle oil!”😂

And honestly, I get it.

Life gets busy, routines get forgotten and if their cuticle oil is sitting at the bottom of a drawer somewhere, there's a good chance they won't think about using it.

So instead of just telling your clients:

“Make sure you use your cuticle oil!”

Try helping them make it part of their everyday routine💅

✨ Keep it beside their bed

✨ Put it in their handbag

✨ Keep one at their desk

✨ Attach their aftercare to something they already use every day

The easier and more convenient you make aftercare, the more likely your clients are to actually use it.

That's one of the reasons I love smaller, portable aftercare products like our 3ml Cuticle Oil Pens and Keychain Hand Creams.

They're designed to go with your client instead of being forgotten in a bathroom drawer.

And when clients actually use their aftercare?

🤍 Their surrounding skin stays better cared for.

🤍 Their nails can continue to look freshly maintained between appointments.

🤍 They get more value from their nail appointment.

A good nail appointment doesn't just end when your client walks out the door.

What do your clients say when you ask if they've been using their cuticle oil? 😂👇

“Every day!” or “I keep forgetting…” 👀

Your client has just spent their time and money getting their nails done.

So why not teach them how to look after them properly once they leave? 💅

Aftercare isn't an awkward sales pitch.

It's part of the service.

Show your client what you're using. Explain why you're using it. Let them try it.

Then give them the option to take it home.

You're helping them maintain their nails and creating an additional revenue stream without adding another appointment to your diary.

That's the kind of retail I love.

Not “buy this because I want you to buy it.”

“I use this because I want your nails to stay looking their best.”

That's a completely different conversation. 🤍

Do you currently retail aftercare?👇

Being fully booked sounds like the dream…

Until you realise you're working 6 days a week, eating lunch between clients and wondering where all the money actually went👀

Being busy doesn't automatically mean you're profitable.

Your products cost money.
Your time costs money.
Your electricity costs money.
Your insurance costs money.
Your education costs money.

And YOU deserve to be paid properly too.

One of the biggest mindset shifts you can make as a nail tech is to stop looking only at how many appointments you have and start looking at what you're actually making from them.

Build a business that supports your life — not one that takes over your life🤍

Save this for the next time you feel guilty for wanting to charge more.

Nail techs, what's one business lesson you had to learn the hard way? 👇

🚨10% off all luxury hand and foot scrubs till 10pm this Sunday🚨

17/08/2026

We didn’t spend 13 months creating “another scrub”… 🤍

We spent 13 months creating the feeling we wanted your clients to have afterwards.

Because I didn’t want to make a scrub that simply exfoliated and washed away.

I wanted the moment after.

That first touch when your client feels how incredibly soft their hands or feet are.

The silky finish.
The nourished feeling.
The beautiful scent still lingering on their skin.

And getting that feeling right took 13 months of testing, tweaking and reformulating.

Different textures.
Different combinations.
Different amounts.

Until I finally had a formula where a little goes a long way and you don't need to use loads of product to get that luxurious result.

Our formula combines sugar with skin-loving oils and butters including Jojoba, Shea, Mango and Coconut, designed to gently buff away dryness while leaving skin feeling soft, smooth and nourished.

And then came the scents… 🍒🥥🍋🍦

Because I wanted this to be more than a treatment.

I wanted it to be an experience.

Something your client can smell, feel and remember.

For nail techs, it's the perfect little upgrade to a manicure or pedicure:

Exfoliate → rinse → towel dry → cuticle oil → finished. ✨

And because the same beautiful tubs can sit on your retail shelf afterwards, your client can take that experience home with them.

I know there are hundreds of scrubs out there.

But this one has 13 months of my time, testing and obsession behind it.

So if you haven't tried one yet…

I genuinely think you need to feel the difference for yourself. 🤍

Your clients won't just notice the difference.

They'll feel it.

Which scent are you trying first? 👀✨

🚨Don't forget, you're getting 10% off all scrubs till Sunday at 10pm🚨

16/08/2026

🚨10% OFF SCRUBS TILL SUNDAY 23RD AUGUST AT 10PM🚨

Add any luxury hand and foot scrub (or multiple) to your cart and automatically receive 10% off the cost, from now until 10pm next Sunday😯!

It's the step most people skip…

And it’s the reason their hands and feet never feel fully soft.

Because hydration alone isn’t enough if the skin barrier is sitting on a layer of dryness.

That’s where this comes in.

Our Luxury Hand & Foot Scrub is designed to do more than just exfoliate —

It removes buildup gently
It preps the skin properly
It allows your oils and creams to actually absorb
And it leaves that smooth, fresh, “just had a treatment” finish

The kind your clients notice instantly.
The kind you keep touching after you rinse.

Whether you’re a nail tech wanting to elevate your prep…
Or someone who just wants soft, glowing skin at home…

This is the difference step.

Available in 8 best-selling scents 🤍
