Before training to be a Reflexologist I think I had forgotten just how amazing and awesome our hearts truly are.

♥️ Our modern society has seen conditions like diabetes, high bp, high cholesterol levels rocket.

♥️Our hearts need us to move more and to eat foods without barcodes.

♥️It’s what we used to do before the modern era.

♥️In Duopody Reflexology we do a lovely hold called the Heart hug as we pay attention to the reflected heart on the feet.

♥️We work the cardiovascular system on the feet, mirroring what happens in the macro...pumping blood and oxygen around the amazing body and delivering waste products back to the lungs.

♥️Its good to think about how well we are looking after our heart as a way of evaluating our lifestyle choices.

This is my Treatment Room today. Sometimes, we just need to press the stop button; be wrapped in a blanket and let Reflexology do its thing. It is so good for us to slow down, particularly when everything else is going so fast. There is a raft of research that evidences the significant health benefits to mind and body when we relax. When thinking about having some Reflexology, make sure you choose someone who has trained and is fully insured to practice. I am super proud to be a Reflexologist and to be part of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR). They maintain high standards within the profession and have stringent eligibility criteria.
