🌲🌲Between the Trees Festival!🌲🌲

We were very grateful to be back with our immersive nature walk in the incredible Candleston Woodland to reconnect with the wild in an alternative way:

✨ Grounding & Senses: We started with a sensory meditation, tuning into the sights, scents, and textures of the forest to deeply anchor ourselves in the space.

💧 The Hidden Sounds: Using a hydrophone and contact microphones, we listened to the secret life of the woods—from the rush of the fast-flowing river to the subtle, crackling moisture trapped inside the moss.

🎶 Plant Music: Sitting beneath a majestic Beech tree, we connected PlantWave technology to translate the tree’s bio-rhythms into music.

With everyone wearing individual Bluetooth headphones, the entire experience was a collective, deeply personal soundscape. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and tuned in! 🌳✨

Join us to explore the amazing woodland sanctuary and experience the hidden soundscapes of the natural world 🌿🙏

Using hydrophones, micro-microphones, and bio-acoustic technology, you’ll tune directly into the unique rhythms and vibrations of plants, trees, insects, and underwater life. 🍃🌊

We loved hosting our Immersive Plant Music Pop-up Station in 🌱🎶

This was a safe immersive space for anyone to take a moment to relax and experience the bio-rhythms being detected from the incredible Indian Bean Tree 🌳

Using the technology of it was amazing to witness the variety of reactions and interactions this offered to people which gave way to some inspiring conversations 🤗

We are already thinking of ideas for next year! 🙌

🌲✨ Slowing down to listen to the natural heartbeat of Forest Farm...

Recently a group of us stepped away from the noise and immersed ourselves in the wild rhythms of the natural world. 🍃🍃

We began by tuning in through our own senses, letting the natural soundscapes and beautiful display of the woodlands guide us to a state of relaxation and connection. 👂🏻

From there we used our immersive technology to listen to the hidden sounds in nature…

🍄 PlantWave Technology allowed us to translate the subtle biorhythms of local mushrooms and trees into mesmerising, ambient melodies.

🌊 Hydrophone recordings submerged us into the hidden, underwater rhythm and flow of the canal.

🦆 Wild encounters blessed our journey—from a peaceful heron on the hunt to a vibrant array of duck species gliding alongside us.

It was a great reminder that nature isn't silent—it’s a living, breathing symphony. 🎧✨

🌳🔊🎧✨ Nature Sound Explorers 🌳🔊🎧✨

We are currently facilitating our Immersive Sound in Nature experience for young children all across Wales with Coram PACEY Cymru 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

This involved guiding young children to become nature sound explorers and immersing themselves in the unique soundscapes discovered within a natural space. 🔍🎶

Our first visit was to Wepre Park in North Wales and the young sound explorers tuned into the natural soundscapes. 👂🏻

They discovered the living bio-rhythms of trees, listened to the soil absorbing water, and captured the underwater vibrations of the park’s pond. 🐞💦🌲

Watching young children pause, listen and engage to the natural world around them was pure magic. A huge thank you to all the grown-ups who joined us for a morning of outdoor curiosity and deep connection with nature. 🤗

A massive thank you to all the adventurous carers and kids who explored Wepre Park with us! 🌿✨

We can’t wait to engage with more young nature explorers soon and discovering unique soundscapes together 🙌

We wanted to share a few bits from last month as we’ve been out and about running workshops with some brilliant groups across the community 🫶

🪘 St Vincent Group in Ely: A creative session featuring instrument playing, drumming, and painting decorative discs.

🌳 Tŷ Hafan SuperSibs: An immersive sound session exploring the gardens—listening closely to the trees, plants, and bugs.

🧘‍♂️ Kington House in Barry: Our regular sound bath. Always a relaxing space, with everyone getting stuck into playing the instruments at the end.

🦢 St Mellons Community Group: A trip to Hendre Lake, tuning into the ducks, birds, and capturing some amazing sounds from beneath the water.

🎧 Mind in Mid Wales: A session with their young people’s group, listening to their community edible garden and playing nature games.
