NAOHOA ('naya-howa') is an up-market tattoo studio based in Cardiff that focuses on custom designed IMPORTANT NOTE:
NAOHOA does *not* do piercings.

Facebook simply doesn't have the option to choose tattooing as a sub-category by itself.

Here’s a belated St. David’s Day design~ 💛 I fancied doing a geometric version this year - goodness knows why, as they’re harder to ink. 🤣 But looks nice~? 😅🥴

Happy Saint David's Day! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿💛 I'm pretty certain I have daffodil Flash lurking around somewhere but am honestly too tired to find it/them tonight, so will look tomorrow. 🥴 In the meantime, here's a screenshot of my Finch* as a makeshift daffodil. 😆🫰

📢 SAVE THE DATE‼️

My books will be reopening for Bespoke tattoos on Monday 12th January at 6pm!

A reminder will be posted via here and the Mailing List up to 30mins beforehand and again when they’re closed.

Consultations will be available on Fridays and Sundays from 11am-6pm and last up to 30mins. £15 will be requested upon booking and is non-refundable.

The previous cohort has been a bit of a weird one with responses and bookings spaced out quite a lot, so although I’m still working on them, hopefully they’ll be wrapped up by the time folks have their Consultations. :) I’m also working on my YouTube channel* (THANK YOU to those who have subscribed so far!! 💖) and other stuff, so…no rest for the wicked lol.

Oh man…how has this year ended already? 🤣🙈 I didn't manage to do one of these posts last year, because newborn, and am barely managing it this time. 🥴

I've forgone the usual 9 grid for the sake of giving some pieces more space, so here's a collection of 6 memorable tattoos I worked on during 2025 that were fun to design and satisfying to ink (either because they were challenging and I felt a sense of accomplishment afterwards, or because they came out ✨exactly✨ how I envisioned them during Consultations~ 🙂‍↔️).
There will (eventually) be individual posts to elaborate on them more, but rn I'm barely managing to write this in time between other responsibilities. 🥲

It's taken this long to figure out a (relatively?) decent workflow whilst raising kiddo - I'm basically running the place (and attempting to build side-gigs) on a 4-day work week. 🥴 Constantly catching nursery bugs hasn't been fun, but I should be able to reopen my books in the New Year, so keep an eye out for that soon! 👀

The colour and fineline black inks I use are from the Imperial Range by Kuro Sumi, which are organic, vegan-friendly and EU-compliant. ✌️🎨

I often get asked, "What's the biggest tattoo you've ever done?" and my answer is, "This one...eventually!"

Kudos to Chris for starting this journey in getting both his legs inked with a LOT of colour-packing. 😬🌈✨ I think we're two sessions in so far? No idea how many left, ngl. 🫠 It'll be epic tho, haha

The design consists of elements in nature. I think we're gonna do the volcano next time? 🌋
