It's the hottest days of the year this week and so i wanted to do a reminder post surrounding sun exposure๐Ÿฅต๐Ÿ”ฅ

It's absolutely fine to carry on with your sessions during the summer months, but we just need to follow the rules around sun exposure.

โ˜€๏ธNo direct sunbathing (this includes sunbeds) 2 weeks before and after your treatments.

โ˜€๏ธIf you're out and about in the sun make sure to protect your skin especially areas being treated with SPF50.

โ˜€๏ธRemove any fake tan before your session.

I can't laser over fake tan, an active tan, sunburn or damaged skin.

โš ๏ธ Sun exposure before or after laser treatment can increase the risk of:
* Skin irritation
* Hyperpigmentation
* Hypopigmentation
* Burns and sensitivity
* Scarring
* Reduced treatment effectiveness

Laser only works in the active growth stage so missing sessions = slower results๐Ÿคท๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ

If you're not seeing the results you want... it might not be the laser tech.
