✨WELCOME TO WHIMSY&WILDE✨

Whimsy & Wilde is my brand new creative venture, starting with original artwork, hand painted toy boxes, murals and completely bespoke commissions.

The idea is to let it grow wherever my imagination takes it. Colourful, whimsical, nostalgic, unusual, slightly weird and hopefully eventually some much bigger and more elaborate ideas too. ✨

I absolutely LOVE being given an idea and having the freedom to turn it into something completely unique, so if there’s something you’ve always wanted painted, a piece of furniture you want transformed, a blank wall begging for something interesting, or even just a slightly bonkers idea you’re not sure anyone makes, ask me😂

I’ll be sharing new pieces, works in progress, commissions and probably plenty of experiments along the way.

This is only the beginning of Whimsy & Wilde. 💗

First of all, I’m so amazed at the response this page has had already and the continued support from all of my family and friends♥️

For those of you who don’t know me I’m Meg, an artist, mum, and someone who has always had a brain full of ideas and a need to be creating something😂

For the last few years, most people have known me through tattooing. Tattooing really helped me rediscover how much I love art and being creative, but over time I realised it was the creating itself that I loved most. I wanted more freedom to paint bigger, experiment more, work with different surfaces and turn ordinary things into something completely unique👀

And that’s where Whimsy&Wilde came from✨

The idea behind Whimsy&Wilde is to take things that might otherwise be overlooked such as old toy boxes, furniture, empty walls, forgotten pieces, and turn them into something worth keeping. Something colourful, imaginative and completely different from the mass produced things you see everywhere🙄

I’ll be creating and selling one off upcycled pieces, taking on customers own furniture to transform, painting murals, creating original artwork and hopefully adding plenty more weird and wonderful things along the way☺️

I’m still right at the beginning, and I have so many ideas I want to bring to life. So thank you to everyone who’s followed the page, shared my work or supported me already🥹
