📢 Bank Holiday Reminder 📢
Just a quick heads up that HwbTywiHub will be closed this coming Monday for the Bank Holiday.

We’ll be back open from Tuesday onwards, ready to welcome you all back through the doors

We’ve also got some new activities and events in the works, so keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks, there’s plenty to look forward to at the hub!

Just a little reminder that our weekly music group / jam session is on every Thursday from 12pm – 1pm here at the hub.

Everyone is welcome – whether you play, sing, or just fancy soaking up the atmosphere. No experience needed, just bring a bit of enthusiasm and come along for the ride.

We’ve got some instruments here, or feel free to bring your own. It’s all about having a laugh, connecting with others, and maybe even picking up something new along the way.

Great vibes, good people, and plenty of noise (the good kind 😝).

The sun’s out and the field here at the park by HwbTywiHub is looking absolutely inviting today!
We’ve put some games out in the park for everyone to enjoy, so why not come down, have a go, and soak up a bit of sunshine with us. It’s all just good fun—nothing competitive… (well, we’ll see about that 😄).
We’ve added a few photos of what’s here, but there are even more games waiting for you when you arrive.
Come down, bring a friend, or just bring yourself—either way, you’ll be more than welcome.

*Important Update – Thursday Evenings*

I’ve made the difficult decision to suspend our Thursday evening group with immediate effect. As a result, the hub will now close at 4pm on Thursdays.

We plan to resume our evening sessions at the start of April, when the weather is a little warmer and the days are longer creating a more comfortable and enjoyable painting experience for everyone.

Due to the ongoing cold weather and the increased risk of ice and snow, we’ve taken the difficult decision to close today in the interest of safety for our staff, volunteers, and everyone who uses the hub.
We’re really sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We’ll keep a close eye on the weather conditions throughout the day and will update you as soon as possible, with the hope of reopening tomorrow. Please take care and stay safe in the meantime.

We are genuinely heartbroken and frustrated to return to the hub today and find that our roller shutter door has been mindlessly vandalised beyond repair.

This has happened sometime between late afternoon on Christmas Eve and today, and we are honestly in disbelief that this has been done to us.

The hub has been part of this community for years — a safe, welcoming space built on trust, care, creativity, and support. To see it damaged in this way is deeply upsetting, not just emotionally but financially, as this will have a significant impact on us.

If anyone has any information at all regarding this act of vandalism, please reach out to us. And if the person responsible is reading this and feels able to come to the hub, speak to us, and own what’s happened — we would be incredibly grateful.

All we are asking for is honesty and an apology.
We truly cannot understand the need for this, and it hurts to see something that exists for the good of the community treated this way.
