We will be closed from 1pm tomorrow (Wednesday 8th July) for mandatory staff training.
For anything urgent please contact 111, or in an emergency call 999. Community pharmacies will also be available for any common ailments

Temperatures are set to stay high this week, so it's important to take a few extra steps to stay safe in the heat. ☀️

🕒 Seek shade between 11am and 3pm
🧴 Wear SPF 30+ sunscreen
🧢 Cover up with a hat, sunglasses and loose clothing
💧 Drink plenty of water
🌊 Avoid jumping into open water to cool off - remember to enter the water slowly to reduce the risk of cold-water shock.

** Furnace House Surgery will be closed this afternoon from 1pm for Mandatory staff training**

We would like to inform all patients that we will be closed this afternoon (Wednesday 20th May) for staff training. We will be open again as normal from 8am on Thursday 21st May. For anything urgent please contact 111. Community pharmacies are also available as usual for any minor ailments

‼️ Patients aged 75 years and over are eligible for the Covid-19 and RSV Spring Vaccinations ‼️

Important Information:

🩼 If you have already received an RSV Vaccination you will NOT require a second dose.

🏠 Housebound Patients will be vaccinated by the health board who will contact patients directly to arrange an appointment.

Immunosuppressed patients will also be contacted directly by the health board to book their vaccination
