Partner spotlight:

Carnforth & Milnthorpe Primary Care Network

Tracks&Dales approached the NHS in 2024, specifically their wellbeing team at the C&M PCN to offer mental health support to their patients.

Since then, we have been able to support, through their amazing team referring directly to us, over 70 walks and 100 beneficiaries, with indirect beneficiaries being around double this.

We have had over a 90% success rate with beneficiaries returning to our wellbeing programmes whether that be through 1-1 or group environments.

We have walked up mountains, along canals, climbed indoors and abseiled outdoors.

The impact has been incredible and we know the difference we are making to these peoples lives in South Cumbria and the Lancashire border.

We can’t thank Carnforth & Milnthorpe PCN enough for believing in the work we do. We know the effort their team put in each day to provide an amazing service and are able to support their patients through empathetic support and amazing signposting to other wonderful charitable organisations.

The items for the new library of things (BayShare) are currently being requested, donated, bought, catalogued and stored. Ideally, we’d like a lot of things to be donated by the public, which…

Continuing to support the NHS’ Primary Care Networks will always be at the heart of what we do, so receiving reviews like the one below is always an incredible feeling. Our director, James recently supported a beneficiary for their first walk with us. Although nervous at first, they were soon able to open up and really understood how important being out in nature is and how powerful it can be for our mental health:

“I would just like to make a review about James whom I met on Monday 11th May. I have been suffering severe anxiety for a long time and I was referred to Tracks&Dales to do walks to help me.
James met me and I was put at ease straight away. After doing the initial paperwork, we set off on a really interesting walk, where I did a lot of talking. James makes you feel so at ease. I would highly ur ecommend Tracks&Dales.
I cannot wait for my next walk. I actually forgot all about my problems for one and a half hours.”
