Slimming World Carrickfergus Tuesday with Doreen

Weather was awful yesterday but that didn't stop our Slimming World Carrickfergus Tuesday with Doreen members coming to group and their dedication paid off

Not only 120lb lost between them but loads of awards achieved ranging from 1/2 stone right up to 5.5 stone

The help and support they give each other in group each week is amazing . Definetly a community where friendships are made .

Another of our fantastic members Agnes who is almost at her 5.5 stone award

Here is what Agnes has to say about her Slimming World journey ... " When I joined Slimming World I was the heaviest I had ever been and it was a shock to see my photo as I didn’t think I looked like that.

The amount of weight I needed to lose seemed like something I could never achieve and I didn’t know how to start.

I’m so glad I joined Doreen's group and every pound was celebrated by this lovely group and encouragement for everytime I fell off the wagon so to speak.

Doreen has to be the most encouraging woman ever, her guidance kept me on track and helped me work out where I was going off course. No week was ever a failure because it could always be reset every Tuesday and turned around for the next week.

I look forward to continuing my journey and would encourage any one thinking about joining to just do it."

This is what Diane has to say....

I joined slimming world in 2025 scared to go in and Doreen made me feel good about starting. Within a few weeks I was beginning to see results and continual weight loss week after week.

Doreen is always there if you need encouragement or just a chat if your struggling I even txt her from my holiday to see what I could eat 🙈🤣🤣

I do love my wee tuesday group and thank and appreciate Doreens work 100% 😀
