Your new President and NEC have hit the ground running and are pleased on this, our SNU birthday, to announce some of the first projects and priorities for the weeks and months ahead.

These include:

* 'Vision 2030' - a long-term plan for the SNU's future & finances.

* New committees and Director portfolios - restoring focus on Healing, the Ministry and EDI, amongst others.

* Opening committees & branches so members can apply to sit on them.

* An upcoming NEC listening exercise and tour, to hear your issues, priorities & ideas.

* Reimplementing Union budgets & restoring fiscal responsibility.

There is much work to be done, and in places, still much trust to be restored. We have been delighted to welcome back old members to the Union in recent days as we enter this new chapter.

These are just some of the immediate priorities and plans, with much more to come - this is just the beginning of what it is an exciting and hopeful time for our great movement and Union! 🌻
