Yes, peonies are beautiful, but it’s these little beauties that truly capture my heart at this time of year.
I love how poppies return year after year, filling our fields, hedgerows and verges with vibrant colour. They aren’t planted in carefully tended borders or given special attention, yet they thrive, bringing beauty wherever they grow.
There’s something inspiring about their quiet resilience year after year and in, sometimes, challenging conditions.
A gentle reminder that growth doesn’t always need perfect conditions. Sometimes the most beautiful things emerge simply by being true to their nature ❤️

I went on my walk early this morning to try and escape the heat and was so happy to see hundreds of sparrows everywhere — bursting out of bushes and trees, flitting from branch to branch and filling the air with life.

Such humble little birds, yet seeing so many felt really special. Sparrows were everywhere when I was growing up, but their numbers have sadly declined so much over the years.

It felt like a gentle reminder of the resilience of nature — how life still finds ways to return, recover, and carry on when given the chance. There’s something deeply hopeful and healing in that 💚

It was an absolute pleasure to be back at slough_spiritualist_church_ on Saturday to support their wellbeing day. What a fabulous event. I’m sure most people floated out of there after their treatments!
It’s always a delight to return as everyone is so warm and welcoming. It’s a beautiful space.
Their next wellbeing day is booked for 24th October so look out for the posts nearer the time. You won’t be able to book with me though as my slots went within 10 minutes!
However, I am available for 1:1 sessions or group events so just let me know 💜

Whatever you believe about robins, whether they’re visits from loved ones or gentle signs you’re on the right path, there’s no denying how special they feel. A quiet link between us and something greater.

I went for a walk in the woods yesterday and, for the first time in months, after a long dark winter, I felt light and peaceful. And right on cue, the robins appeared. Everywhere. Flitting across my path so I had to check my step, bathing in a puddle right in my path, asking to be noticed.

Some might say they’re just birds being birds, but we feel it differently, don’t we? They come close. They hold your gaze. They linger until something shifts within you.

Yesterday, I felt surrounded, and I felt the blessing 🙏
