With multiple communal areas, Brendoncare Knightwood is a happy and comfortable home with kind and compassionate staff dedicated improving the lives and well-being of people in later life.

We were delighted to host a “Thank You Tea” to celebrate the incredible time, kindness and dedication our volunteers bring to Knightwood. Their support makes such a positive difference to the lives of our residents.

A special thank you to Volunteer Manager - Tanya, who gave a heartfelt speech expressing our appreciation for everything our volunteers do. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful team here, and it was a pleasure to celebrate them together.

Thank you for all that you do – Knightwood wouldn’t be the same without you! 🌟

Today we celebrated World Oceans Day by embracing our inner mermaid and created these beautiful jewellery trinkets made of scallop shells 🧜‍♀️

What a fantastic afternoon of live music with Double Take - UK 🎶✨

Our residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed singing along, clapping and reminiscing as the beautiful twins brought a wonderful mix of classic favourites and feel-good tunes. Their angelic harmonies created an amazing atmosphere throughout the home.

A huge thank you to Double Take - UK for sharing their time and music with us. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon 💕

Today we decided to stay in the relative cool of the lounge and play Rummikub. It was a hard fought game before the worthy winner shone through 👏 Afterwards we enjoyed a refreshing choc ice and drink over a chat 🍦A lovely way to spend a hot afternoon 🌞

After the amazing talk last week from the Minstead Trust, today we were “out out” enjoying the views and soaking up the atmosphere at Furzey Gardens 🌳

We all loved the variety of rhododendrons and tea and cake was perfect to finish the afternoon.

Our gorgeous chicks will be leaving us this week (we will miss them all!) We brought them out for some personalised visits so we could bid them a fond farewell 🐤
