A MASSIVE happy 1 year anniversary 🎉 to our very own Anthony, who's been a fantastic support worker and bought such positivity and banter to Thrive 😁

This Tuesday some of us decided to go the catamaran The Spirit of Scott Bader ⛵ where we took in the view of the Solent 🌊 as well as take turns steering it and pulling some of the ropes. As you can see we all had a great time 😁

So recently we've had the pleasure of hiring the very lovely Ian as a new support worker 😀 so it was up to me to find out a bit more about him with a fun little interview. Let's dive in:

What’s your experience in working in care?
I have 30 yrs nursing experience in emergency care and diagnostics

What would you do if you had a day off and had £1000 to spend on yourself?
I'd probably spend on them on my hobbies, mainly history and buying more car parts

How willing are you to put up with Joe?
I’ve had worse!

What’s your ideal holiday destination?
Probably somewhere in the countryside or woodland on a nice autumn day

If you had a superpower, what would it be and why?
Probably telepathy so I could communicate with people – no barriers

Last Friday some of us headed out to Hayling Island 🏝 near Portsmouth for some good ol' sailing in the nice weather ⛵ ☀.

As well as enjoying the sun ☀ and seeing some seals, some of us even had a go at steering 😁 All in all, a great day had by all 😀
