We have been enjoying the sunshine ☀️ recently at Victory and played guess the song 🎶 in the garden while enjoying the Ginger Honey Buns 🫓that the residents made from scratch themselves! 👩‍🍳

We listened to many classic songs from artists such as Vera Lynn, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra and many more. 👨‍🎤🎶 The residents enjoyed a singalong to each song and told stories of their past after the music brung memories flooding back, 👵🏼💭 it truly was a wonderful day for everyone! ✨️

☀️ Recently, we enjoyed a lovely walk together to the local park to get some fresh air and make the most of the sunshine.

Along the way, we met some friendly dog walkers who stopped to greet us, shared smiles while blowing dandelions and making wishes, and even had a few children and their families stop by for a chat with the residents. 🌼

We relaxed with some refreshing lemonade on the field and spent time watching aeroplanes fly overhead — we counted 6 altogether! ✈️

Although some residents found the walk a little challenging, everyone said they felt proud and accomplished when they returned home. Their determination and positive attitude are something we can all be inspired by ✨😊
