🪵 THRIFT & THRIVE WOODWORK 🪵

Our service users have been diving into something a little different this month. Acquiring new skills, unleashing their creativity, and transforming old materials into extraordinary creations! 🔨

At our local Thrift & Thrive Medway, our activities encompass woodworking, tool usage, and the design and creation of unique mosaic pieces. It's all about giving our guys the confidence, practicing thier practical skills, and working together effectively 🙌

Our service users take immense joy in this new activity and you can see that though their pride in their creations. 🥰

Homemade with a little bit of love! 🫐🍞

There’s nothing quite like freshly made bread and delicious homemade blackberry jam! Our service users have been busy in the kitchen, getting hands-on, learning new skills and enjoying the satisfaction of making something from scratch.

And of course, the best part is getting to taste the finished result!

📚✨ Beyond the Bookshelf at Choice & Harmony ✨📚

From Wonderland to Wonka's chocolate factory, Cherry Tree Lane to the Magical Enchanted Woods , our team stepped into the pages of some of our favourite stories for a day filled with imagination, laughter and creativity.

Thank you to everyone who dressed up, joined in the fun, and helped bring these magical worlds to life. Here's to another unforgettable Choice & Harmony celebration! 📖

August has arrived, bringing with it a month filled with exciting adventures, creativity, and unforgettable memories! ☀️🌻

Join us as we explore Leybourne Lakes, Whitstable Castle, race at Pedal Karting, and engage in hands-on activities with DIY Group, Capstone Craft, and Upcycling Club. We’ll also celebrate together at our Service User BBQ, get moving with Move & Groove, learn new skills in Signing Class, and enjoy the great outdoors with our Gardening Club. 🌿🎨💃

With the summer holidays in full swing, we plan to make the most of the warm weather by engaging with the community, staying active, creating new memories, and, of course, keeping cool, hydrated, and sun-safe throughout the month. ☀️💦🧢
