So today, here’s a look at what our piercing setup actually looks like at The Chamber. 👀

Yesterday we talked about sterilisation and why simply having a “clean” setup isn’t enough.

Today, we’re taking you behind the scenes and showing you exactly how we prepare our setup before a piercing.

Clean is not the same as sterile. And when it comes to piercing, that difference matters.

🚨 CLEAN DOESN’T MEAN STERILE 🚨

We’ve seen some “clean setups” being posted recently, and there’s an important distinction we think everyone should know about.

A sterilisation pouch that has been through the autoclave will have its chemical indicator markings change colour, showing that it has been through the sterilisation process.

A pouch that hasn’t been sterilised will still have the original indicator marking.

So when you’re getting pierced, take a second to look at the pouch your sterile equipment is coming from. 👀

It’s a small detail, but understanding what you’re looking at can make a big difference when it comes to safe piercing.

Clean ≠ sterile. Know the difference.

What a weekend. 🖤

We headed to the Mancunia Tattoo Convention expecting to meet great people, create some awesome tattoos, and enjoy the atmosphere… and we came home with 🥇 1st Place for Surrealism.

We’re genuinely blown away. Huge thank you to everyone who supported us, stopped by for a chat, booked in, or cheered us on. It means more than you know.

A massive shout-out to the organisers too. The convention was brilliantly run, packed with incredible artists, and had such a welcoming atmosphere. If you’ve never been, we’d definitely recommend putting it on your calendar for next year.

While we were there, we also launched our first The Chamber merch!
