The weather looks good this weekend, but something to consider.
The evidence supporting joint pain alongside weather change is inconclusive. Anecdotally, many feel discomfort in their body alongside weather change. A couple of thoughts are:
☔️The change to lower air pressure reduces the pressure placed on our bodies. This allows tissues to expand and may cause discomfort. An area of the body that is weakened through injury or aging, may be more susceptible to this?
💨Perhaps it is our behaviour change with the seasons - less time spent outdoors, less movement?
If you experience ongoing joint pain. Consider an osteopathic assessment.
