LET’S GET BEHIND JOSH! 🇬🇧➡️🇫🇷
Last night, Josh Cox set off on what is undoubtedly one of the biggest challenges of his life - a solo swim across the English Channel.
The Channel may be around 21 miles at its shortest point, but with tides and currents, Josh could end up swimming closer to 30 miles, spending around 14 hours in the water battling the cold, exhaustion, jellyfish, sea debris, unpredictable weather and one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. 💪🌊
But this incredible challenge is about much more than reaching France.
Josh is raising money for four fantastic charities, each with a cause close to his heart:
💙 Hullbridge Parkinson’s Café: Supporting people living with Parkinson’s, including Josh’s nan.
🚤 RNLI: Supporting the incredible volunteers who save lives at sea every single day.
🦅 Phoenix Heroes: Helping Armed Forces veterans and their families overcome PTSD and other mental health challenges.
🎗️ Endometriosis UK: Providing support, raising awareness and funding vital research.
We’d love everyone in our community to get behind Josh and show him some support. Whether it’s a donation, a message of encouragement or simply sharing this post, every little bit helps.
