Taking place on *Tues 27th October* at Crofton Springs Care Home we'll be teaching basic skills in first aid, manual handling and communication - so that you can care with confidence.

You can even bring your loved one with you as we'll look after them while you do the course.

A great opportunity for reminiscence from your local library! Gloucestershire Dementia Action Alliance - Countywide Gloucestershire Libraries

From 1 September 2026, Memory Sparks bags will be available to reserve from Gloucestershire Libraries. Supported by Arts Council England through the Let's Create programme:

Designed to support people living with dementia and memory loss, the bags are filled with themed books, sensory items, conversation prompts and activities to help prompt memories, encourage storytelling and create opportunities for connection.
Whether you're living with dementia, a family member, friend or carer, the bags have been created to inspire conversation, help wellbeing and encourage shared experiences.

💙 Free to reserve with a full Gloucestershire Libraries membership from 1 September
