What a show last night 😍 show me your photos/ videos. I couldn't sleep and then felt drawn to the window where I then spent 2 1/2 hours watching the show. At 3.30am I was so wide awake but realised there wasn't much of the night left 😂 guessing I'll sleep well tonight 🤞⚡

Following on from my post yesterday, I went back out weeding last night to see if my robin friend,now named Rodney , would join me. He spent best part of an hour with me, happily right by my side whilst I worked away, watching and collecting bugs to feed his incredibly hungry ( and noisy) baby. For most of the time, I just enjoyed him being with me, but I couldn't resist trying to get a video of his large baby when he also joined me, and was then treated to Rodney feeding him in front of me 😍💗
( And yes I know- lots of weeds to go,so guessing I'll be back out again soon 😁)

I am not a gardener 😁 but I have been weeding the front garden over the last few days, just an hour at a time. There is a robin nesting in the hedge and he comes to join me every time. I have heard his baby tweeting for several days now, and robin has been busy collecting bugs when I am working. He is happy to come right up to me!! Yesterday evening I was privileged to be joined by his baby too and watched him being fed - boy he's ravenous 🤣 it was hard to get a photo as I was also trying to enjoy the moment. Hoping to go back out tonight for an hour to see them again 🙏😍

We no longer have a teenager in the house 🏠
Monty is 20 today 🩷
We had a home birth - a little hairy. Went into labour at 5.30 pm in the Suffolks on Gold Cup day!!! The midwives just made it by 9pm and and a 10 Ib 3 1/2 whirlwind was born at 9.30 pm in a water pool with the hamsters watching 😀
He's a high adrenaline ju**ie, and we couldn't be more proud of him. Keep smiling and grabbing all the opportunities thrown your way 😍🥳🎂🎉

Trip to the races for Monty, Abi and I 😀
luckily we picked Wed and the sun shone ( it was still freezing)!!!! Our hero, Dave Ryding (GB skier)had his biggest success at Kitzbuhel, so when we saw a horse called kitzbuhel racing,we had to back him. He was awesome 🏆 I wish I'd been braver now and put more than £2.50 on him 😁

Today is International Women's Day.
I believe we are shaped by all we meet, and I have been blessed to work predominantly with women, meeting many remarkable people and learning from them all. I have also been blessed to be brought up by the most incredible woman of them all,my mum who most of you know from her work on reception for almost 20 years. The strongest woman I have ever known .
And then there were my grandma's - Grandma Dandy and Grandma Tick Tock , both fire officer wives and both cut from a cloth that doesn't exist today 💪😍
