Whittington House Nursing Home Whittington House Nursing Home provides residential, nursing, dementia and palliative care. Some bedrooms with en-suites have private patio access.

Residents can enjoy access to a bistro, hair salon and cinema as well as beautiful gardens. As you step inside there's clean, bright, fresh spaces, and flowers everywhere. We have comfortable lounges, an activity room, hair salon and bistro full of homemade cakes and freshly brewed coffee. Explore quiet nooks with comfy armchairs, classic novels and books on the shelves. You'll find board games, c

ards and puzzles and a well-stocked arts and crafts room is the perfect space to spread out and create. We have a wonderful display of photos, drawings, and art for our residents and visitors to enjoy. Residents love regular shopping trips and day trips to Croft Farm Water Park and Cheltenham Racecourse. New residents can use our designated, safe admission suites and benefit from a personalised wellbeing plan during their initial 14 days. Dementia Action Week
What a wonderful week where we raised £190 from our raffle and handmade forget me not badges for the Alzheimer’s Society and Music for Memories.

We would like to thank our wonderful community for knitting and crocheting forget-me-nots they were very popular and helped us achieve our goal of raising over £150 during Dementia Action Week.

Anne Standish one of our residents kindly helped at our pop up cafe and very proudly wore her forget-me-not hand made apron.

This week we have been holding many events in our home and on Wednesday 20 May we were at the Regent Arcade in Cheltenham providing the general public with information on dementia and showcasing simple aids which are available to help make daily life easier and more engaging. Two of the aids we took were our robotic cat and dog which were a great hit with the public. We were able to provide valuable information through signposting to many organisations in Gloucestershire for those wanting further support and raising the awareness of Dementia.
